I really, really like Rimmel lipsticks. I think they have some pretty colors, and they're all around $5. My favorite is "Pink Champagne" Its a bright, kind of Barbie pink which may not be for everyone, but I think its really pretty with the right look.

the best nude lipstick i've tried so far is NUDE DELIGHT from RIMMEL. this lipstick is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! i can't even describe how amazing the colour looks on anybody's skin tone...and pretty much any eyeshadow too. emily you gotta try it! It got good reviews on makeupalley too. VINTAGE PINK from Rimmel is nice as well.

Usually I do not use the glue provided with the fake nails as your nails will not stay on. I use the superglue & so do quite a few other people. The nails will last me quite a while (over a week or more). IF I need to remove them sooner I will use acetone or a nail polish remover with acetone. As far as company that would be hard to pick just for you as everyone's nails are shaped differently - experiment with those that are the length etc you like and what fits your nails the best.

Oh~and you've gotta also splurge on a Mac l/liner in "Cremola" to pair with your "Angel" lipstick.....my Mac MUA applied these to my lips and it created the most amazing nudey/pinky color = gorgeous!

Em - try "Plastique" from MAC next time you're on the lookout for a new color...it's gorgeous and I think you'd love. You can pair it with gloss, you can use MAC "Spice" l/liner or the Wet 'n Wild #666 with it or even a brown toned l/liner....lots of possibilities & sooo pretty :))))

Hey Emily,

If you have an outlet mall near you (i consider within an hour worthy of the trip, without a doubt!) you should see if there is a Cosmetic Company Store. I adore mine and a lot of the products being sold at Mac currently are in my CCO now. Also, Clinique's Brush On Cream Liner is SO unreal. I use the Black as a base and liner and it is so unbelievably creamy! You should try it I think you'd adore it. XOXo

I like rimmel and mary kay lipsticks, I have Amber Suede! I got the mary kay one for $6.50, the representative was selling it for 50% off, they cost $13.50!

I also like Millani Color perfect lipsticks ,I bought about 6 of them and they are high quality & smell very close to the Mac lipsticks!

Thank yo so much Emily! i'm always looking for MAC dupes as they are way over my budget. I'll get the Maybelline. I have a problem with Loreal Color Riche lipstick every single one i've bought quickly develops this nasty metallic-y taste, i had the Fairest Nude, the Organza (lovely mauve) and Caramel (lovely brown with gold tones) and i had to throw them away practically unused, they tasted so foul. Just wondering if anybody else has had this situation with Loreal Color Riche lipsticks.

If your lips are chapped, then I would suggest that you exfoliate them, and then apply some lip balm.

I mix honey and sugar together to exfoliate my lips and it works well.

And it's always good to use a lip liner with the lipstick too.

Kam2490 - what I do each morning and evening is I rub my lips with a mixture of Extra Virgin Olive oil and sugar - you can take a tsp of sugar and mix the olive oil in to where it is moist, but still grainy - it forms an alpha-hydroxy acid and will make your lips very soft and nice. Also it is important to know that lipsticks do not react the same on everyone. My daughter loves this one brand but when I try it, it chaps my lips and looks like it is a different color.

The EVOO and sugar is used in SPAs and sold for quite a bit and some SPAs mix EVOO with salt as a scrub as well. Personally I prefer the sugar. Once a week I will get in the tub and scrub all over with it and then shower off - it makes my skin feel like heaven. I also scrub my face with it a couple times a week. I am sure you have tried the honey and crushed aspirin facial as it is great for acne. A lot of home remedies are sold for a lot and take pennies to make.

I might answer my own question by watching your past videos, but have you tried Milani's Glitzy Glamour gloss? I just bought one (color= all about me) and I love the way they feel on my lips. There's good color payoff with the first application and it almost feels like you're wearing a lip moisturizer rather than a gloss! I'm in love!
