Honnestly, it's one of the classical musics I've never heard before and I do like it a lot. I knew that octet means 8, well in french we use the word octet in computers as 8 bits information (a byte)... I didn't know that octet was also about 8 music instruments playing. This music inspired me to go outside for lunch.
@newcoleco, I'm happy that I have introduced you to this Schubert Octet. You say that, hearing it once, you like it a lot. Great:) My guess is that, listening to it a second time, you will like it even better; and even better than that the third time; and so on. That is how it has been with me.
