i think the 2010 and up's look cool. if anybody remembers the snakebite monster truck from the mid to late 90's thats what it reminds me of. needs some fangs.

I just bought a new 2010 teryx sport for 9345.00 out the door at the Kawasaki dealer in Talladega Alabama. I love it. It has plenty of power and room for my wife and I. I like the razr but it didn't have enough room to haul a lot of gear back in the woods. I even like the looks of my new green machine. ;-)

As far as I'm concerned, I love the look of the new Teryx. I've got a 2011 and I think it's much better looking than the previous models. If you want a rhino clone, go get a rhino. And boohoo on the parking brake, a hand operated one "just like God intended"? Give me a break! The parking brake is just like the one on my truck, is he not man enough to operate it? If that's all he's got to b!tch about, the new and improved looks and the parking brake, well them it must be a great machine

Oh and everyone get a TERYX NOT RZR kawasaki is just better quality i like polaris but would rather have a sick v-twin riding me around. Even thoufh it isnt as fast is will still GO!!

@batmanhasnopowerz Not quite but that may be more because the RZR's seats (and steering wheel) are adjustable to fit (me) better!

@36crazyfists63 I struggle too. The original Teryx was one of the BEST looking UTVs out there - now, just another ugly face. I will say though - it grows on you - especially from the driver's seat. Being such a great machine makes it easier to overlook its looks ;-)

LIke the ranger do you have to tow in low gear?

@teryx98 It's always a good idea, but it depends on what and where. A light trailer on fairly level terrain maybe not. A heavier trailer on hills - definitely!

2010=JUNK!!! Looks wise the 09 was way better...i will be getting an 09 thats for sure!! thats the ugliest thing i have ever seen....very disapointed i really wanted a 2010 but oh well the 09 is way better looking!!!

we own a camp in WV and i want a teryx. We ride lots of trails and i like the teryx;'sd look tords the trail. But i like the RZR's power. SO what should I do?

@tobyfailz That is indeed a tough decision to make between those two! If power is the only, or at least the ultimate factor then perhaps the RZR would be a better choice. But if you factor in added utility, more 4wd options, and possibly better reliability, then the Teryx would be the better choice.

Kawasaki has shown Huge improvements, this year, But I still think i'm going to stick with a rhino. Something I noticed on the front end is that it looks a bit like the honda big red...

Once you get past those looks, you'll find the Teryx is faster, smoother, handles better, is quieter, has a better locker, and won't be outdated in a year.

It depends entirely on where and how you ride. If you don't need a 50" wide rig I'd suggest either a RZR S or the Teryx.

That's the way I see it. The only real important improvement is the tilt hood that gives you a lot more room for cleaning and maintenance.

yeah that is better, but the teryx is excellent as is, my wife and i love ours, and neither of us really care for the new design
