It's so stupid that the hair I rarely shave is the hair that society says I need to shave and that the hair I want to shave is the hair that society says I need to grow out. Gender roles are fucked. And so is anyone who says she's 'ugly' now because of this. She's beautiful from her head down to her toes and I think anyone who says otherwise is just jealous that they don't have the balls to do this. That or they're completely closed minded and think all girls should have stereotypical long hair.
