For the Fuzz Face clone, did you use a PCB from Build Your Own Clone or General Guitar Gadgets? If yes for one of them, what kind of trimpot did you use to bias the transistors? If no, did you make it out of a turret or eyelet board?
I built this one using turret board, I think it was two of the Antique Electronic Supply part # P-TS6-1 , superglued together. I don't have the pedal anymore, I traded it for a reel to reel tape machine. I have had good luck with the GGG pcb. In fact, if I were to build another one, I would use the GGG pcb. It makes for a quicker build and actually keeps lead lengths shorter. As for trimpots, Jameco and Mouser sell many small 10k trimpots. I don't remember sticking one in that pedal.
