There are so many good teachers, so many (just out of school) who will do better teaching our children, but they haven't given enough in Union dues to get up the chain and keep their jobs.

I think the depression before the world wars was than one now because the unemployment rate was 14% as opposed to now being 9%. However, the number of people unemployed right now is greater than it was back then because of the larger population.

I must agree. I have seen them twice in Austria and they have always covered the cost of the admission. I only wish they would make sure that the bars were full of beer because both times the tank ran dry.

I think the depression before the world wars was than one now because the unemployment rate was 14% as opposed to now being 9%. However, the number of people unemployed right now is greater than it was back then because of the larger population.

Under capitalism, if you work hard enough, and make the right moves, you can make a decent living for yourself, unlike socialism, which is just the equal distribution of poverty. Both systems as they stand now are flawed. But at least one takes human nature and the need for more into consideration. The other just exists on paper, like all the other fairy tales you read as a child. Open your eyes.
