I sang this song to my daughters every night when they were little. My husband was from Big Island and we lived on Maui. My husband's mother sang it to him. I hope my daughters will continue the tradition. Mahalo nui loa for posting this!

They way those girls were perfoming for that song did simialar to the one I learn when I was living in Hawaii.

@macicedog I don't think my Hula teacher taught us the songs both in English and in Hawaiian. But what I am glad about is that I still remember this song, which is my favorite one that I do like to sing when I am in my Hawaiian mood.
