I think that car suffered a head-on collision. Because the N-cap tests are done with 64km/h and videos show that the megane keeps its solid shape beginning from the front window through the rear. There's no way this car end up like this while going with 60 without a head-on collision.

I have a 2003 Megane II hb 1.6 16V dynamique, ottoman blue, like this very car, and I felt kinda sad watching this video. I don't want my megane to be like this:(

according to the dashboard it wasnt going very fast so it was a head on collision.

he/she would have got away with barely any injuries just a few cuts and bruises it has been crash tested like this before with an older bigger volvo. it was a modus but results would be the same

I have a Megane II, of the 2004.

I crashed in it goin at 50 Kph and the airbags didnt open :(

Anyway....good car :D

The car probably didn't think the crash was severe enough to deploy the airbags. You should only be sad if you actually needed the airbags like if you hit the steering wheel.

Piosenke pozyczylem od shakespeare sisters - stay - a co do autka mam juz kolejne MII - heh..coz..polecam..bo miesiac temu zasnalem za kierownica - i przytarlem sie bokami - ale autko twarde - tylko blacha poszla - reszta nic - juz naprawione i pomalowane na MII SPORT - wyglada jeszcze lepiej.
