Only few of a particular tribe of jews were slained and rest remained allies with Muslims against Pagans of Mecca. These jews were slained because they betrayed the pact which was made between Muslims and other inhabitants of Medina, which included jews and other pagans. Just how a person charged with treason is put to death in your beloved America, Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) ordered them slained.

Once she failed to do so and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) went to check on her to find out the reason why didnt she throw garbage on him. He was concerned of her health. @RockStudioLive As far as Quran is concerned there are many verses where Allah forbades killing of innocent people, if you read Quran instead of listening to Oreily or people without any Islamic knowledge, you would know. When it comes to prophetic traditions, what Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) did in his life was overwhelmingly peaceful and he only faught in self defence. He forgave the woman who ate his uncles heart.

They were required to hang pork in their houses and people were hacked to death and the word inquisition was introduced in religious intolerance. When Muslims ruled spain 800 years before them and still Christians were in majority in spain, these spaniards and 800 million hindus are living proof of Islamic tolerance.

The Koran says to kill until all are Muslims or subjugated by Islam. The New Testament says to spread the good news that Jesus will forgive the sin of anyone. Islamic slaughters are commanded by Allah. Christians are commanded to love even their enemies.

Infact Hindus lived in relative peace during that time except when there were uprisings by Hindu and Sikh Kings against the Muslim rulers. If Islam was to be spread by sword then Hindus would not be in Majority in India right now. And i can say that because i was born and brough up there. To summarise, nowhere in the Surah ALLAH orders killing of all non believers, infact the pagans who were in peace with Muslims are ordered to be left alone. Only those who repeatedly break promised and threaten peace are to be punished and even within them those who seek peace are to be escorted to the place of safety.

@RockStudioLive However the most important part comes in verse 6 which says “and if anyone of the idolaters seeks protection from you, grant him protection so he may hear the word of Allah, and take him to the place of safety, this is because they are people who do not know”. ALLAH clearly says that if any of the Pagan who does not want to fight you, take him to the place of safety (so he may be protected) that is because they are the folk who do not know.

First of all this verse is in no way an open declaration of war and murder against non muslims, it is specific to those people who had peace treaties with Muslims and broke it. Despite this Allah gives them time of few months to change their ways. Allah then says that if they fail then Muslims are to attack them and kill them till they accept Islam.
