Whats funny about this, is jung was right. God is all things, we are all a part of the whole. The fragmentation of being is the illusion of dark vs light. God is both and beyond. Embracing the darkside doesn't mean becoming evil, like darth vader. It means LOVING and accepting the dark, just as the light. Like Jesus...LOVE ALL. @MeanHacker judaism annd christianity are also composite religions and Abraham (case in point) was summerian and Israel became more of a nation (also a composite ethnic group) when they stop allowing marriage outside of thier tribes and they were nomads. also i love his "catch all" - "witches were a bunch of wierdos casting spells" ROFL by name witches were very good at herbalism and nature study and were very respected in those times when they did in factt provide great service to many.
@MeanHacker his remarks on witches and wicca are very misleading and vague, casting spells and cursing people was not the behaviour or purpose and in fact none of the records during the inquisition show this so called "wierdo" behaviour" of course many innocents died accused of being a witch but, many who were couldve used those known poisons and other things on people and they did not. facts are paganism is right inside the very fabric of all Christianity honest research would prove this.
@MeanHacker sorry to have messaged or posted to you alot but, think you need to hear a diffferent point of view ( not a fight ) from an ex holy roller, and bible teacher who is now very happy with both paganism and witchcraft ; who also found out it is not only not evil, but sensible and good. i do not proselytize it per se but at times like these i do defend the good in it . this guy is lying to you both theologically and intellectually be wary and be open.
