Even if you don't respect the man you must respect the message. Life is long, complex and sometimes awful and unexpected and one cannot judge, but rather respect the principles. You can certainly find flaws in everyone if you look hard enough but if you look for the positive, he certainly provide enough tools to provide a platform for change.
@RickBruner I agree with most of what you say because its true. 5 years ago I had a failed business and 10k in debt, I did one of his courses and that helped me get our networthfrom -10 to +750k. Doing a Tony Robbins course and a few Brian Tracy CDs did help. My Wife and I had to work hard also:-) I never actually learnt anything new I just got reminded what to do and did it

He's no genius. Everything he says is just common sense. You hear it everyday from wise people. The difference is that he has all these material trappings, press coverage, and a huge organization so people think his advice is more revolutionary than it is. Wise people have been saying the same things for thousands of years. My parents told me the same things he says when I was growing up. I don't need to pay him thousands of dollars for such advice. That's foolish.
LOL. You are obviously one of the stupid sheep that needs to throw away money. Be my guest. He'll take it. You obviously haven't learned a thing from him anyway. He would never react to criticism the way you did... by calling someone an asshole. You are not a true Tony Robbins student if you stoop to that level. I respect what the man has done for himself, but I don't need to pay him money to do the same things.
@rickbruner the only thing is that when wise common people say it, it doesn t motivate me or people... when he says it it gives a bull in my body, that s the million dollars difference... wise men say but don t act ...he talks the talk and walk the walk a true motivator, action man.
@billyjean311275 It's nice that he motivates you, but you don't understand the definition of "wise." A wise man is someone who is functional in the world. He is not just an "ivory tower academic" who doesn't live his theories or advice. Wikipedia's defines wisdom as "a deep understanding and realizing of people, things, events or situations, resulting in the ability to choose or act to consistently produce the optimum results with a minimum of time and energy."
@billyjean311275 You cannot gain wisdom from walking on coals for a few seconds or listening to a motivational speaker for a day. Wisdom only comes from tons of experience - from challenging yourself time and again, failing, failing, failing, and then opening yourself to the simple, quiet answer amidst all the mayhem.
@billyjean311275 I respect your position BJ. Thanks for not calling me an a...hole like the guy above. If his wisdom actually motivates you toward long-term, meaningful change then he's probably worth every dime you've paid him. I've seen different sides to his programs though. One of my clients paid $15,000 to attend a Tony Robbins weekend in Hawaii. They did the fire walk and all that stuff. When he came back, I noticed he would swat himself in the leg very hard in the leg when he...
@billyjean311275 ...perceived that he had made a mistake. Then he would say, "that's not me." He was taught this at the Tony Robbins seminar. It was called "anchoring". He was motivated to do it for about another month, but without a plan of action for change in addition to the anchoring he soon lost his fire and stopped doing it. Essentially, he paid $15,000 for a slick catch phrase and a bruised leg.
@billyjean311275 Back in the 1990s, Tony Robbins himself used to say he had found everlasting love with his first wife and their marriage was a success because it was built on the principles he espoused in his workshops. Of course, his marriage eventually fell apart. Change happens and no "formula for success" is going to override the Universal plan that is bigger than any of us. The formula for success has been and always will be the same - find something you care about and work hard at it.
@billyjean311275 If you care about something and work hard at perfecting it, success will follow. It often takes years or a lifetime. If you need Tony to tell you that then pay him. But, the power is within you, not him.
I used to think his stuff was a scam when I saw the infomercials but his stuff really is great. His books are really really long and kind of dense but if you can plow through it, there's a lot of stuff that can help you.
I heard he learned a lot from Jim Rohn and Napoleon Hill, especially Hill's book Think and Grow Rich. If you like Tony's stuff you should read that book and The Hidden Secret in Think and Think and Grow Rich by Brian Kim.
I used to do what this guy does and what he does is backed up by a real human science. No doubt about it. When something works you can't hide it. The technology is solid. He puts a face on it. Thank God for that.
You can't help but love this guy. I saw his biography on Youtube recently and his story is amazing. He has so much energy and is never short of answers.
yes, what's your point? He is now happily married to Sage, his second wife...He was honest to divorced and get a better life for him and his family! What finally counts is that this guy has helped thousands of people!! Please stop nonsense critics!!

He really nails it when he says that when you're looking for somenone you have to first: decide very clear what is what you really want, what kind of person do you really want to be with and second: you have to understand what kind of person YOU have to became to attract that kind of person in your life. It's just so logical and so common sense. We love you, Tony.

Just came back this weekend from Wealth Mastery in Londen. I met Tony Robbins at UPW in june 2007 in Londen. He changed my view on life. As Larry King says, there is no thing like Tony Robbins' seminars. Go for it and SAY YES!!
I just got back 2 days ago from hanging with Tony and my Platinum friends in Fiji for the last 10 days. He is amazing and make sure to make it to the DWD next month in Scottsdale. you dont want to miss whats coming up!
Also check out my site for pics in Fiji with Tony, Great stuff! (site is on my profile page)
I've researched Kevin Trudeau...check out complaints against Kevin Trudeau and you'll google a huge amount. Try the same with Tony and you'll come up with not a whole lot.
So don't even think about putting these two in the same class. Some people pay upwards of $1 million to get coached by Tony, and find him well worth it. When Clinton was about to be impeached, and his life was falling apart, and facing potential losing his law degree, he called Tony Robbins.
He left his wife because it was the best thing for him his children and his wife! Sometimes things just don't work! Why stay in hell when you could be happy? People need to lay off of Tony.
Tony Robbins is great, probably the best in the world at what he does! His seminars are great but the companies he deals with aren't. I brought a few tickets from Medwestern for my group for a UPW seminar , one of my group wanted a refund. They kept ignoring my friends request making up excuses despite a no questions refund policy. This was disappointing.
But don't let this put you off his CDs because they are brilliant and anyone who listens to them will see that their lives change.
WOW...I can't thank you enough for posting this video. AR program called Personal Power changed my life back in the early 90s but I haven't really kept up with him and his teachings. This makes me want to get back into his material. His stuff really does work.
Love this man! Just watched The Secret DVD recently and received this awesome report by Bob Proctor. Check this out at DynamicLawOfProsperity dot com ! It can change your life!
He is a great coach. He is no different from Vince Loambardi of Jim Valvano. He coaches you as well as teaches you the tools to go through a productive life.
Yeah the boi is tha truth. I did tha Get The Edge whoo whop and it did this. It took away every excuse I ever had, any limitation, any fear, and doubt, and left me with nothing but movment toward success, happiness blah blah u get it. Anyway change your mind; change your life! Viva La Tony Robbins!
popactor, there's no hope for people like you. Anyone who expects to get something for nothing is doing nothing for the common good. Service=rewards. Tony does plenty for people who can't help themselves as he give MILLIONS to charity. You just saw this video and you took the time to complain, yet you won't take the time to get your shit together. Why don't YOU give away the hamburgers you're flippin' to people? How DARE you charge for them? Get a life.
There is a thing called supply and demand. His prices are high for a reason. The reason being to weed out those who are truly serious about changing themselves from those who are looking for someone to make the change for them. You have to be willing to make changes so that you can achieve your goal of attending. I'll work a full-time job and take 6 masters classes at the same time because it's what I have to do in order to attend. It is about doing what it takes to be the person you want to be.
It's interesting. People who bash Tony, Brian Tracy and others, always say: "Oh, it's just common sense presented in a glossy manner". Oh, really? How come you're not living it yourself if it's all so damn easy and common sense? If you know what to do to become successful and it's all common sense, how come you're not doing it yourself? Why does he charge so much for his programs or seminars. If he wants to help people, low your prices or heck give them free. Tony mentions uses alot of famous people has motavation tools That helped people like Princess Diana or Mother Theresa but they never charged anything for their help.
no, actually he does change lives, the same way any single person can. unless you've read an entire 500 pg TR book or stuck with a whole program one couldnt really imagine how usefull the info is. like an elegant mathematical solution, simple and precise.
What Tony talked about on this video is just a hair of what he teaches at the seminars. I learned more at his seminars than I ever did through college. Do whatever you can to get his audiobooks. Attend a seminar. Join a basket brigade at Thanksgiving. Tony for President in 2008!
Tony for president, yeah! haha. The world would change. Get that dufus we have in there now, out of there. There are so many quality people that would strengthen the nation instead of deteriate it, which is what Bush is doing.
I've had Tony's program (Personal Power II) For 8 Days now. The way I think, feel, behave and process events in my life has changed completely. He has made me aware of all the fantastic tools I have, and taught me how to use them. Definately looking forward to the next 20 days of coaching!
It takes a lot for me to cry, and the story of the man who was executed really got me going.

no, actually he does change lives, the same way any single person can. unless you've read an entire 500 pg TR book or stuck with a whole program one couldnt really imagine how usefull the info is. like an elegant mathematical solution, simple and precise.

What Tony talked about on this video is just a hair of what he teaches at the seminars. I learned more at his seminars than I ever did through college. Do whatever you can to get his audiobooks. Attend a seminar. Join a basket brigade at Thanksgiving. Tony for President in 2008!

With all due respect it is the amount of lives he has changed that makes him such a powerful leader.

Even King would be good (although old) president.
