I just purchased the G-switch. When I press button 1, the Nova goes to 2. When I press button 2, the Nova goes to 1. Button 3 is mapped to 3. I've tried two different three-conductor cables, same result. Is there an internal setting that might account for this?
This is awful implementation in my opinion. What would be better is if the 2+3 buttons scrolled up and down the list of presets, and button 1 activated the currently selected preset.
This way you can easily cue up a preset change whilst performing live, and then just hit button 1 on the beat you need to change on.
All this holding buttons down malarky is just not wise implementation from a live performance perspective. It just complicates matters!!
You can't use the G Switch and the expression pedal at the same time, right?
So that meens that if i wish to change presets and use an expression pedal, but in the same time use all switches on the Nova i would need a midi foot controller?
I use a Engl Thunder Combo. Can I use with a Engl Z11 and the g-switch on preset 1 my clean channel with reverb and chorus, preset 2 my crunch channel with Delay and preset 3 my Lead Channel with Boost and Delay from Nova System?
If one uses the G Switch, does it 'free up' the switches on the Nova System to be used as 'pedals' for Drive, Comp, and Reverb, like when the Nova System is in 'pedal mode?' thanks.... TDJ

@tcelectronic Thank you. I think I've found the apparent answer on the forums. I need to update the firmware which corrects a known bug.

Can you connect both the G switch and an expression pedal to the Nova? If so, how would you go about that?

@dokken555 - I'm afraid you have to choose which solution of the two you want..

When I press e.g. the 1 on the G- Switch, can it also send a control change to e.g other rack units?

Can you use a g-switch on an Eventide Pitchfactor as an aux switch?

Hiya,
Yes if you use a G-Switch for preset change it frees up the Nova's switches to be used for effects bypass.
Best wishes,
Joey @ TC
