listening to Turin brakes since i wa like 9 or 10. the door is probably one of the best albums in a long time. i mean these songs are ingrained on my head like nursery ryhmes.
Perhaps is about the evil of children :)? The band plays in front of children who do not like their act (dressed up - playing ukulele)... Not sure what the deeper meaning is though... According to the official site Turin Brakes made it up themselves, so i guess they only know?
it's a twisted nursery rhyme. Everything is turned upside down .. the cute children are dressed as monsters and the wolf is playing games while the children are winning and defeating the real monsters
@Felcey The way I see it is that the video goes with the lyrics: the audience (children) doesn't like the band's performance, after which comes the 'quiet times' when 'decisions are at the door' - meaning the band is figuring out whether to continue performing or not after having such a hard time trying to please people.
Love it. Have'nt seen much of them in Aus, but ive got all ther albums, and downloaded a couple of radio gigs. Long distance (acoustic radio) would have to be my favorite
Depressing as fuck.

No ..i've changed my mind on this one. It's about the weariness of entertaining and the fear the entertainer has of the crowd and a bad audience
