  • What a moron.

  • Fantastic - brave and committed woman.

  • Well done Lorraine. I was in London on the 26th and it was great to see that the 'ordinary' people of Britain still have protest in them. 'Keep on keeping on'!

  • Well done Lorraine,

Brave and articulate and a credit to South Londoners. Check our channel pnmfilms.

    Luv ya.

  • This country is in so much debt that it can afford to spend billions per day to police a no fly zone over Libya and to station army units and air force at bases in many parts of the world.

Its in so much debt that it can afford to give Lockheed Martin (weapons dealer) billions of pounds to collect personal information from us (Census 2011). So much debt that it can afford to pay 30,000 people £14.50 per hour so they can visit your home to enforce their wasteful census.

  • It's not the government,it's their Jew Zionist masters. Well done Lorraine.

  • we all need to do more of this

  • Well done that woman you are an inspiration! I'm going to be there!

  • One alternative would be to decriminalise cannabis!! it cost billions to enforce and we get NO value for money at all. WHY are we putting pot grower in prison where is the cost benefit?

But massive well done to Lorraine!!

  • If more folk like Lorraine went about doing things like this....the world would be a different place. Good on ya girl!

I don't think there will be a march....there will be so many people there the whole route will be full up so noone can march....that'll show those bampots what ordinary people think....we won't be fooled again.....next thing is to organise a general strike....cos 1 day of marching isn't enough.

  • cheers Dave Nellist for correcting me. i lost my job on friday too, but thats probably because im a nob more than anything else. i would like to get involved with something to bring this govt down. any suggestions

  • I love Lorraine, Go Girl!

  • This woman is a HERO. At least she's prepared to do something about the crap that this country is currently in because of the vested interests of the 23 millionaires on the Cabinet who do whatever the big Banks want. They are NOT working in the interests of you, your friends and your family.

I will be in London on the 26th March.

    Love Police

    See you there! :)

  • I am surprised she was not thrown off the bus. Buses are private property of the bus company and therefore can not be used for political purposes. I am also surprised that this was allowed to be filmed as it has been known for PSO's to order tourists to delete all pictures taken on or of public transport for security reasons.

As to the march, who in their right mind will go if it means being held in a police kettle for hours on end until everyone wets themselves. Protests are de facto banned

  • @Stickings90 A PCSO has absolutely no lawful right to "order" tourists to delete anything. PCSO's haven't even taken an Oath of office. A Police Officer only has the power to review photographs under very strict criteria laid down by the Terrorism Act if they reasonably suspect the photographer to be a terrorist. This woman has every right to say whatever she wants on PUBLIC transport. If the operator want to ask her to leave the bus they can, but they cannot interfere with any of her rights

  • @TheHolySpirit I have been trying to keep up with the law on photography myself as I have had to take photos in public for official purposes, but there was that incident in London with two overseas visitors who had taken a photograph of a bus station, being ordered to delete all photos as described.

My surprise was that the bus driver did not intervene, and thanks to this clip, if the bus is identified the driver could be reprimanded for allowing a political speech on private property.

  • @Stickings90 They were probably cited section 44 of the Terrorism Act, which has been ruled unlawful by the European Union. On the Met Police website "The use of Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000 has been suspended in the MPS". "Officers have the power to stop and search a person who they reasonably suspect to be a terrorist.". If this reasonable cause is not there then they cannot order anyone to do anything of the sort. Officers do not have the power to delete images or destroy film.

  • @TheHolySpirit That's interesting to know. We have in the past had to brief American visitors we played host to that photography in public was defacto illegal because of this stop and search. When was it suspended?

  • @Stickings90 It was ruled illegal beginning of 2010 although its use had already been scaled back by then. Despite the ruling many police officers still cite it to this day without knowing its scope. Compensation for unlawful detention seems to be quite lucrative.. Comedian, journalist and activist Mark Thomas got detained for 12 minutes and has been quoted as saying, "£100 a minute is slightly more than my usual rate" after being awarded £1200 compensation!

  • great work

  • TOP

    SHE IS FANTASTIC

    MORE OF THIS PLEASE

    .

  • working class hero

  • Lorraine should have got a standing ovation for that, great work.

  • Top woman!

  • please people stop watching shit TV and believing the mainstream media on your massive TV's. they are giving us a day off on the day of the parasitic royal wedding. big fucking deal. for 3 million people, every day will be a day off. on royal wedding day, this country should see the BIGGEST FUCKING RIOT AND DEMONSTRATION THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER SEEN. REMEMBER THE POLL TAX RIOTS? people power DOES work. come on people, GALVANISE......

  • @stevenisobelle2007 Steven - it wasn't the riot in March 1990 that defeated the Poll Tax; it was the organised non-payment, led by 2000 anti-poll-tax unions, which resulted in 25,016,263 cases being taken through the courts that drowned the Poll-Tax system, moved the government off course, and removed the Prime Minister! Groups such as the NSSN, and TUSC, are trying to recreate those links of mass resistance in order to do the same to Cameron as was done the Thatcher. Regards, Dave Nellist

  • go Lorraine. And come on people, we are being completely shafted. why is everyone not ANGRY, what the tories are doing is ideological destruction of the welfare state. there is completely enough money to go round. first the war on terror and now the war on debt. britain will NOT get repossessed - we were in more debt at the end of WW2 and what happened we created the NHS and the welfare state? in a recession you KEEP spending, you do NOT stop cash flow. ridiculous

  • Well done to the lady on the bus. Totally agree

  • Amazing Lady!

  • Love it!!!

  • Well done that lady

  • Fantastic work... and so brave!

These cuts are not necessary and they will harm the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups most... including women, people from ethnic minorities and older generations.

Save our public services... save our NHS... save the Equality and Human Rights Commission... it can all be done.. just get some of that £120 billion of avoided , evaded and uncollected tax in!

Come to the March on 26th 11am at the embankment going to Hyde Park for a rally.

    Tx

  • @tarshabarsha Well done Lorraine, what a positive brave thing to do!

The cuts are not necessary, as so many others have said there is an alternative.

    Once again, well done Lorraine.
