  • Awesome cover! Love it! I want to see Richie Sambora and friends hahahahaha

  • Richie He's a GOD

  • get a rope

  • This is the best cover ever!!!

  • i made the BIG time at last......

  • Good choice for a cover, fantastic song and suitable for the Bon Jovi repertoire. Would've been even better with a full band set-up, though.

And please, people, stop knocking Bon Jovi for playing this song even though Jon is no Paul Rodgers and whatnot. So what? Why should they not be allowed to salute their influences like everybody else? And since when is it a bad thing to have brilliant taste?

  • its a good cover to me

  • This makes me think that Bad C° was a really really awesome band. I Love Boz on bass. Three or four chords and tons of soul... And what a sound.

  • Didn't like the intro too much, but it came together pretty nicely.

  • DON'T LIKE THIS COVER!

  • love bon jovi, just dont really like this cover

  • is everyone kidding? i think it's a great cover. this got me interested in Bad Company anyway.

  • If you think it's "crap" or GAY, then rack off and go and listen to your Dolly Parton LP's. 11 albums and 26 years says they're good. I think I hear your mum calling you, your bath is ready.

  • Better stick to your own songs Jon!

  • How did this ruin the song?

  • I'm a fan of Bon Jovi, its a fine band that rules. However, listening to this is like eatting at the Olive Garden - its all right, but its just alright. That said, Paul Rodgers is some pretty big shoes to fill. Not every Bon Jovi song is a home run, this is a solid base hit though, Rock on!

  • where was this recorded?

  • The Hammersmith Odeon, London England. New Jersey Tour.

  • they aren't screwing anything up. It's sounds fine to me. Ya how is this song ruined? I like both versions...

  • My question is: R there any TABs of this acoustic version?

  • His live vocals don't suck, and by the way i have recorded in a preffesional studio. Ive heard him sing withought a mic or anything and it was amazing. i have musical ear but u on the other hand don't, he is one of the most amazing singers in the world he can sing anything and sing it well you probably can't, so you shouldnt be commentin.

  • bad company better

  • you're an ignorant...that's all i can say to you...

  • I love anything Jon sings and he always does good covers :) His voice is so soothing to me This song is one of my sisters favorites

  • OK Sick of everybody bitching about he is no Paul Rogers. No kidding. AT LEAST THEY PAY TRIBUTE TO THEIR INFLUENCES AND HAVE THE BALLS TO HONOR THEM. BOB DYLAN loves "Wanted" and I suppose since they sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" "Help", "Rockin' In The Free World" and "A Little Help From My Friends" you will say .."Well they are no Paul Simon, Beatles, Neil Young.. THEY NEVER CLAIMED TO BE ANYBODY BUT BON JOVI and they still sell every seat at every venue 25 years later.

  • @rnjvixen nicely said

  • @rnjvixen you said it all men!

  • i have something to say to Minseito.i do know who Paul Rodgers is and honestly the only reason why i don't dare to say that Jon Bon Jovi is better than him is becouse i respect Paul Rodgers and he is a legend but if he wasn't you have to agree with me that you wouldn't see much of a difference between Jon Bon Jovi and Paul Rodgers right?so...think a little before you start judging Bon Jovi's music becouse they are as good as any other legend of music ok?don't talk about what you don't know

  • No, not right. There is a big difference between Paul Rodgers and Bon Jovi and it's measured in octaves. Why do you assume that I am talking about things that I don't know about?

  • god...people like you are just idiots!!i assume that you're talking about things that you don't know becouse you're the only one who knows about music.you see there are other people like me who know about music becouse they study music and have relatives who actually happen to be musicians and as you should know musicians know about music ok?so maybe you should learn that there are situations where you just have to shut up

  • Ahh, I remember, yeah, All right now, one of the first songs we played in 1996, yeah, this was Paul Rogers??oh, Jesus, I'm gettin old, I think.

    Thx for the information unlikeanyotherhuman.

  • He was meat and potatoes, kept a low profile. You hear his voice on classic rock as much as any of the bands you mentioned above. Maybe more.

  • Paul Rogers , Paul Rogers, Paul Rogers,....

I don't know him, and I play a lot covers of all popular rockstars, Queen, Bad Company, Bruce Springsteen(sry for my alphabetics^^), Beattles, Bon Jovi, Guns'N'Roses, ....

And I'll never heard of Paul Rogers yet, and my band is very successful; we are working on a little promotour through europe

    marcel

  • OMG.

    Jon is so effing sexyy.

  • utter shit

  • I think this a great cover! I can't find jon's pitch bad. this is live, and we all know you can miss some notes. And even if his sinuses are plugged up for some reason, I think he sounds good anyway! :)

  • are u a stage crew member or something

  • No, I am a musician with a great ear, that thinks that a performer that gets paid rediculous amt.'s of cash, should be able to do better than just poorly, or fair at their job!

  • In this time Jon had some big problems with his voice, listen to live performances of the these days tour

    marcel

  • just because u dont like bon jovi doesnt mean there a terrible band this is better then anythin u could do

  • BAD COMPANY SING THIS BETTER

  • Paul Rogers sings EVERYTHING better!

  • oh beautiful version!!!i really love it,BON JOVI ROCKSSSSSSSSSS and ill see them soon in Barcelona,I cant believe it!!! ;)

  • i absolutely love this song, and it's one of the few songs where i prefer a cover to the original :)

  • yeah, he was a special guest at this one-off small show at the Hammersmith Apollo. It was over Christmas, and Richie Sambora invited him as he was his hero. I think they're now friends! If you get the 'Acces All Areas' video you can even see the soundcheck with them playing together!

  • bad compny's better

  • Ya definetly but this ones alright

  • Superb.I remember first hearing this on the Access All Areas video about 20 years ago.Love it.

  • not a "bad" version at all. But I still like it!

  • I saw Jon Bon Jovi in a rehab center in Neptune, New Jersey. He was visiting the drummer of the band I think. He's a tiny little guy. This was in the mid eighties. I Didn't even notice him until someone pointed it out after he had left. (Alas, my brush with greatness.)

  • How tall are you? Jon is about 1,75m or more, that's not tiny at all, is the average height.

  • The drummer is small.

  • this is soooo good. I remember this show being live on Radio 1 in the UK. It was just before Christmas in 1989 at the Hammersmith Apollo. They played with Jimmy Page later on, and played some awesome songs, many covers. I still have the cassette that I taped it on!

  • WAIT WAIT WAIT BON JOVI PLAYED WITH JIMMY PAGE?!?!?!?!?! I DONT KNOW WhAT TO SAY I DONT LIKE BON JOVI BUT JIMMY PAGE IS THE BEST
