I had to refresh myself about this case.  I don't know much about Huckabee or many of the other candidates, but I do know you have to really concentrate and nick pick to know that parole means the encouragement of a release. He denied releasing him, but he supported 'the ok' to release him. Huckabee's like the Congress of our government in this case. Congress gives the ok to pass a law, but the President has the option to veto or ok it indefinitely. Huck's not a flat out liar because of this

I do very much, and what he advocates is not in the bible. Creating a religous state (eerily similar to the taliban), attacking other countries because he doesn't like them, with other candidates were "dead", victimizing the elderly in the named of extremely high taxes just to survive. For any parole board in the country, who controls their policies and supervises their activities.... This is easy: The governor. Just so happens, he was the governor when the rapist/murderer was released. It is the norm for a governor to review all major parole considerations, of things like a rape or murder. Also, he "did" write that letter to Dumond about giving him his support for parole.

Mike is speaking the truth here. He denied this guy 4 separate times, and only the parole board (that was appointed by Clinton) was able to and did get him off. In 1997 Chastain and Suttlar both said Mike did nothing to sway opinions on Dumond (Arksanas Democrat-Gazette 1/23-24/97). It wasn't until 2001 after Mike didn't reappoint them and before the 2002 elections that they changed their stories to the current one. Check the facts ppl.
