  • I have 2 Previas. A 91 LE and a 95 LE S/C which I just bought from my aunt after my uncle died. I thought of doing the burnout in the 95 but I have transmission issues because of my uncle's poor maintenance for the 16 and a half years he used it.

  • im scared to neutral drop it. i usually brake torque until tires break loose. one of best built car for sure(along with all toyotas almost). anyone else who owns one, whats the mileage? we should start a forum for previas. my mileage is 182K miles. still a baby and like new

  • @stickerice85 Could you tell me the best way to do this, i got a 99 previa, auto. I've tried few times but couldnt pull it off any tips?

  • Love the laugh at the end.... just as good as that burnout! LOL

  • ugly car

  • @Dualshock21 better looking than ur face.

  • @stickerice85 how do you know that if you have never even seen my face? retard

  • @Dualshock21 Car?

  • @dlygrind ?

  • @Dualshock21 Incredibly well designed car.

  • They made previas with RWD??

  • we have hade 7 of them the sc were all allwheel drive those things are fun

  • NICE MAN

  • Man I love these cars.

  • if i ever do end up with a collection of cars, there will definetely be atleast one Previa.

  • by far the sickest mini van burnout i have ever seen

  • now u have to change tires XD

  • i have a stock 94 le s/c

  • lol holy shit thats badass and funny at the same time. how'd u get the front brakes to lock and let the rears spin? or did you just lightly press the brakes and let the crappy drums in the back get owned?

  • @stixzor The previa has rear wheel drive. All whell drive was an option

  • ok, but how did he stay in place? even with a wheel just spinning the van should move a bit if there are no brakes.

  • @stixzor The brakes are on but the power to the rear wheels overcomes the brakes ability to stop the wheels. This results in the car staying in place while the rear wheels spin.

  • ah, so the rear brakes are getting raped. lol

  • @stixzor correct

  • Excellent!!!!!!

  • Idiots. Do you find it funny or interesting?

  • i like it. I have a 95 RWD supercharged previa

  • i wanna see some burning rubber from your please! i wished mine was a s/c....

  • why would u supercharge that?

  • it was factory supercharged

  • 95 and up are all s/c, not sure about the 94's

  • oh. interesting mix of performance and functionality.

  • @stickerice85 If I'm not mistaken, it was an option prior to '95, and then yeah, it became standard-issue.

Best minivan in the history of automobiles, imo

  • @stickerice85

1994 is optional on the supercharger.

Mine is 1993. I need a bit stiffer springs for the front of my previa.

Anyone done any coils springs upgrade on the Previa?

  • @heterosapien69 i know right like what the hell

  • @heterosapien69 stock supercharged

  • @heterosapien69

idiot, u dont know shit bout Previas

  • @shootnmove well do you want to calm down and tell me about it?

  • @heterosapien69 toyota supercharged these because the american models had more powerful v6s and a redesign would have been too costly so they dropped compression and added a supercharger to compete with american vans like the caravan

  • check out my bus ,,search estima driftsnow ,5 vids please rate &comment

  • Thats classic lol

  • Hahaha Hella Sick

  • @GlennnD yep they all were

@mpwelk be preppared to work, it's a job just to get to the engine and you have to maintain it and keep it running as well as it can, otherwise it won't be able to move out of it's own way, the N/A 4cyl really wasn't enough power to move a heavy van, the s/c vans were a little better, a V6 woulda been better, the V6's from the trucks to keep the RWD but they wouldn't have been able to retain mid engine that way so a turbo 4cyl would have been best

  • wow ! Never knew that there are RWD previa's.

  • i hav 1 its awesome rear slips out a lil bit if u push her in the wet =P

  • ALL these years and today I learn that these are RWD mid engined beasts of machines. I want one.

  • they are fun to drive, especially the s/c w a supercharger. but kinda hard to work on unless your mechanically inclined. I got 2 of them and both extra reliable!

  • My thoughts exactly. Drop the kids off at soccer, drift demo, groceries, another drift demo, get kids, then be home for dinner. Hell yes.

  • wow. powerful mini-van.

  • so y you junked it how many miles it had

  • almost 300,000.... the radiator blew and my motor seized up...

  • NOOOOO! :'(

  • the supercharged ones were awd, the rwd ones were NA. and its and open differential, so really only 1 tire gets all the power, the one with less traction. u can tell ass the smokes coming from the right side of the car when he takes off. i love doing burnouts in my previa.

  • hi, just wish to let you know, Supercharger version not neccessary is AWD. in japan, when you buy a car you are tick the custom selection what you want.

  • how do you do that? is amazing

  • beleive it or not, that car came stock with a supercharger and RWD.

  • Yes I already know that and there are model all track with transfer case for 4 wheel drive my question is how you do to stop only front tires ?

  • Can`t be, atleast not in Europe. It would be too awesome family carrier

  • somewhere in the past a man spit in a baby's face......as punishment he was returned to earth as a Previa, which is now owned by you...

  • YESSSS!!!!!!

  • such ugly vans look like beetle bugs ahahaha

  • boiled egg

  • linelock =()

  • YAHHHHHHHH hand me another beer wouldja? lol

  • you didnt need to do a neutral-bomb to spin the tires in that thing, a simple brake stand would have sufficed. you held the brakes too far down when you did this video.

But excellent nonetheless. I love seeing random cars do stuff like this.

  • Lol Previas are so awesome....mid engine rear drive van....wish someone would make something like that again!

  • I got hit by one of these....in the face. They're incredibly ugly but I heard they hardly used any gas

  • actualy they do use a lot of gas. cause its a small engine pushing a large vehicle. but still very reliable and awesome!

  • Yeah they eat gas for sure.

  • Hahahaha thats the same car my family drives around in.

  • damn that shit was spinning for days

  • Great Holy Shit! I never knew those were RWD! LOL! It still may look like a flee with wheels, but it is now more cool to me than it used to be LOL!

  • I bought one for 850 thinking it would be a good car, after putting 1000$ into water pump and brakes and other interior blemishes, i started to love the Previa, I am a proud owner of 1991 LE with the captains chairs second row seats and All Trac all wheel drive :))

  • my mom has a supercharged previa but its front wheel drive.

  • nah, it's not... it's probably AWD

  • Awesome!!! That was sweet :D

Is that a supercharged Previa?? Do all previas come with an LSD differential??

  • nah, it's not S/C... i dont know about the LSD, the S/C'd ones might have the LSD, i know mine doesn't....

  • Well... it is burning both tires right?? That means it has at least a viscous LSD (limited slip differential) otherwise only one tire would be spinning.

    Still, pretty cool vid.

  • Wrong. Open diff cars spin both wheels too, it is just less likely.

  • Yeah, Open diff can spin both tires not like that, once one of the tires has less traction than the other one it stop spinning. But think about this, those vans come in AWD too, it kinda makes sense to equip some kind of LSD because it's safer on RWD cars (since its a family vehicle) Let me do some research about this vans, but in all the years I've seen burnouts from non LSD and with LSD I've never seen both tires spinning like that on a non LSD....

  • the d in lsd stands for differential!!

  • No shit... I thought it was D for Donuts!!!

Lol, c'mon dude you trying to teach me about cars....

    All joking bro ;)

  • this van is rwd?

    i thought they were fwd

  • EAT HIS DUST!!!

  • Previa's are AWESOME!

  • sick sick..

we call them tarago's here, lol.. fkn shit name

  • Previa is awesome :]

  • bahahah. just when i thought it was over you kept on going. gotta love the previa

  • come on im looking for a previa really bad and you r just playing with it gshhhhhhh

  • Haha that funny you going to fuck up your transmission. LOL

  • yeah *estimas(not previas) do drift in japan.. theres a lady that drifts a specialty TRD version thats orange with bucket seats, 5sp, etc. Videos are on here dude.

  • that video you saw isn't a TRD version. It's just another tuning company just happened to choose previas as a demo car. Trust me, I'm an active estima enthusiast.

  • I'm not sure I would go around telling everyone that lol.. anyhow I'm not sure why I said TRD version, stand corrected.

  • I did have a question though being that youre an enthusiast. Did that company use the same motor that comes stock or did they somehow modify another to that angle and spec?

I figured it was the standard motor, but many were arguing it had to be something else. and if you have any other info on it I'd love to hear. (I DD a previa and have a jza70 supra as my fun car)

  • thanks.

  • Haha we'll get along just fine :] I have a previa and an a70 myself along with an x73 :] those motors i believe are just built stock motors because I was being an idiot one day and dislodged my axle back and it sounded similar to the note of the orange ones. They come NA, Supercharged, or Diesel turbo.

  • ah very nice haha.. similiar too, an A70 and a previa eh?

anyhow I knew what engine options, I just figured that perhaps they would opt for a turbo. though the motors in the videos do have an N/A sound characteristic, so I imagine they're the N/A version, or S/C as u said.

I'd like to find a manual one with any engine option in decent condition, that would be a neat car to slide. I already play with the auto a little in the rain and the supra I don't prefer to beat on.

  • cool

  • i need to know how you did that! im trying on mine! i put it in low gear and tried and it sorta worked. i needed more time.

  • hahahahahha awesome!!!

  • Ive seen previas drift in japan...

  • i have a 95 previa and can burn out, wanna see?

  • is it RWD? dude, the `95 are supercharged too so they "should" do a burn more easily! do it! we need more PREVIA BURNOUTS on youtube, sry, i cant do anymore, because mine finally died on me...

  • sad to hear yours died... can't you get an engine rebuild? or get a new previa engine from japan. or even get a new one!

are are superchargers stock on the '95? or did you just put it on?

btw my mom has a 91 RWD... almost half a million km and it still runs strong!

  • Aww! You serious? My 91 still runs strong. Only 172,000 miles. 95' S/Ced edition was an OPTION!

  • awesome!

  • how did you burnout? ive been trying forever but it just dosent work. plz help

  • i kinda cheated.... hahahaha, it's not powerful enough to do it on it's own, so i had to help make the tires more slippery by putting some oil on the ground... it's an automatic so i had it in neutral and at the same time held the brakes, i revved the car and popped it in drive... hold the brakes and keep GASSING it... it should work... i wanted to do more burnouts, but my car finally gave out on me a month ago... so, no more previa vids... kinda sad, but it was a great beater car!

  • what killed your prev?

  • i think one of my hoses broke and it drained my antifreeze, i think my engine froze up... hey, the junk yard gave me $150 for it...

  • aww man that sucks... keep those fluids in check

  • Was that auto or manual?

  • i wished it was a manual...none where i live...

  • If you think about the 90'-97' line of Previas...

Dual Sunroof, RWD, Manual 5 Speed, SuperCharged sounds more like a sports car!

  • sry, but the supercharged models only come in 4-sp auto...91-93 came with an optional 5-sp... 94-97 came in on 4-sp auto only because all their engines were supercharged...

  • Damn!... If there were sucha thing, I bet drifitng would have included Previas :(

  • it could be possible... if you can find a `93 manual previa and buy a s/c motor and just do a swap... it SHOULD fit, because it's the same motor, one just has a supercharger... the only thing is that the manual tranny might not be able to handle the power/torque... havent seen it done, yet but it's possible...

  • Yeah, but the only problem is that the supercharger isn't exactly small... if you compare the underhood stuff of a 91 and 97... they basically remounted alotta things. Battery on the other side, air filter facing different direction...

And then there's the issue with the faulty SAD... (acessory shaft)

  • i wished it was a manual...none where i live...

  • Awesome! So I can do like the video! :P

I have a high flow intake cone air filter so I should be able to do a bit better :P

  • heh, only do this stuff in the rain or snow.. gotta save on tires :O

  • Oh,this previa is very cool!!

    I like it!!!

  • hope your mom doesn't see this video, she'll be pissed ;)

  • watched it again... is the van still alive?

  • yeap, it's still running... it's got over 254,XXX miles on it right now... i just took it off roading the other day, sry, no vids though...

  • lol damn, I hope thats a manual

  • me too, or i oughta slap this guy

  • pretty nice! didnt sound like the engine was having a great time though xD

  • 138hp isnt that great :D

  • lolz no, but these horse's stay strong =D

  • True! True!

  • Nice too bad my alltrac wont do that.....yet MUHUHAHAHA
