Babyshambles need Pat and Pat needs Babyshambles. He's an amazing guitarist, but he needs to be with someone "high-profile" like Pete to get some wider recognition.

It's funny because I've been following BS from the beginning and back then a lot of people didn't like Pat's playing. I think they preferred the fat, rich sound of Libertines guitar. But I always felt his Jazzmaster sound was perfect for the 'Shambles. It made their sound really distinct.
