Yes it's frustrating trying to set up a defensive perimeter while random spilcers are setting off your traps before the gathering. I got a what I think was called an "untouchable" achievement during a gathering in Dionysus park with hard mode. It was in the upper balcony of the theatre.

The easiest place to get this is the ice room in Dionysus Park, where you have like 5 cameras and 4 torrets before the room where the body is. You only have to hack them. I did it in hard mode just using the bee plasmid to make them stop and get shooted...

you doing this the hard way man.. i just go to one of the levels with hypnotize (there are 2 of them) and hypnotize everyone while running to the machin to get more life and eve. Its so fucking easy. Well, if your intent was to get perfect on all trial, great for you. But if you are just trying to show us how to get the achievement, you are doing it the hard way.

i planned to do this in the park in the ice area with a bunch of turrets and cameras, but i got lucky and in one of the gathers instead. i placed my sis when another was about to harvest so the ai sis and daddy had to wait. i planned on the big daddy to protect my sis too, but no splicers ever showed during the gather. kinda dissappointing

i was playing around with cyclone trap and accidently got this one after the gather

i got a glitch that i can start hacking (but cannot actually hack)

i cant stop the needle

(so i can only abort, buyoff or loose)

but auto hack dart do work

any ideas?

when i did this it was where gil alexender is and a sat down and no one ever came

you could also get the camo-tonic and just stand still. then you can also get it on hard. i usually do that in the level with alex the great. (at the gatherer's garden)

i used the invincibility glitch for this and spammed the body with traps

I just used a bunch of turrets, traps and hypnotize with scout. infront of gils tank. Left my body hunkered down by the gatherer's garden but 5 minutes later at the second gather nothing spawned. I already had the achievement but I wish that sorta thing had happened earlier when alphas and houdini's would start to appear

Best area to do this is the second time you get to harvest any adam in the entire game and just hack everything inclusing the health machine so they get ownd when trying to heal. :)

i got this achievement without knowing there was such and i got in in hard with the last little sister on the laboratory, had only one life bar left so i left lots of pivots traps , lots of swarms and 4 mini turrets and wala achievement

i got this done many times on hard... easy game.. have all achievements SP...multiplayer is kinda confusing mostly, 22-2 on civil war is my best score, played MP for like a week ( not play time). almost went flawless on a ffa also without bigdaddy suite... its like you either do very bad or very good in this game due big daddy suite and i hate getting spammed by incinerate... the elefant gun can be crazy cuz it 1shot kills from a headshot :S.

Lastly, QUICKLY grab your Little sister when she's done!

Easy way continued, the whole idea is to hide in the securis room ON THE LEFT side of the door before you entered it.(if you face the outside of the door. <- that left. Wait at the edge of the door and crouch. you'll be able to see the turret clearly. make sure you have a few cyclone traps laid down around the sister and once she's gather keeping adding more traps when you hear them go off.

Here's the easy way to do this, go to Siren's alley, get level 2 cyclone trap. Reach the little sisters orphanage where you see a gatherers garden and back track into the houses to find the hidden stair and get to the 3rd floor. Follow the bridges until you can spot the orphange in front of you and continue. you should spot a turrent firing at you. QUICKLY/SAFETLY hack it and stock on eve hypos. The body lying their should have adam.. place the sister down and head into the SECURIS roomNusetraps

i did this on medium my first game after fontaine futuristics by the gatherer's garden w/ body in front

i hid by the garden w/ my invisible tonic and shot lvl3 insect swarms out

i dont think i even SAW the splicer-thats how good the hornets are :D

oooh..i did this in a later level.. they only came from oen direction, so through the doors i set cyclone traps with fire, proximity mines by the door, likke 6 trapwires after that and then more mines and cyclones near the sister, and hide by the vita chamber. this way is so much easier.. =]

Yo I did this on medium in a way easier way. Just find a decent spot you can defend well. Set up trap rivets, 4 mini turrets, and most importantly you need to mash the Decoy plasmid so shit never attacks you.

If you keep Decoy up thats all they will go for, and this becomes a joke.

Mine: Theater upstairs balcony. 4 mini-turrets placed directly on the railing so they can shoot over the little sister and also hit anyone below. Normal Splicers will only come out from the closest door to the body. Have Winter Blast 1 and either the Rivet Gun or Spear Gun for 'one shot to the head' kills. Hide in the corner behind the seats close to the door. I had the headhunter tonic and maxed out research, so those probably factor in this. Of course lay down traps (but not prox mines).

I got this acheivement on my normal mode playthrough in one of the rooms in the secret lab area of fontaine futuristics. Booby trapped the whole room with trap rivets, trap spears, cyclones, proximity mines, mini turrets and security bots then hid in a corner with natural camouflage tonic. Had to jump out at the end to finish off an Alpha series but that was it.

funny thing i was in that place were you have to kill gil alexander and there was this one place it was a raised areawith the back and front coverd by walls so splicers could only get through on the sides i set it up hevely with mine and trap rivets and spears and started it up

nothing came and i sat there for two minutes just watching the little sister gather adam

it took me about three minutes getting my taps back

The next gather is much easier with only two entrance spots and a turret you can hack. Good advice here for this spot though.

I got this achievement very easily on the first corpse in Pauper's Drop. I was assaulted by mostly, if not entirely, thuggish splicers, allowing me to leisurely headshot them as they approached from afar, no trap bolts or anything elaborate.

Just be careful of the few that come through the nearby door.

There's also a security bot you can hack in the same room as the one you fight the big daddy in. If you hack him after the fight he will be in good shape and follow you down to the gather point. It is located along the left wall after you walk in through the entrance door.
