Am I the only one who thinks that the "storm" over Brand and Ross was contrived, probably by Brand's agent, to get Brand out of his contract with the BBC because he had received offers from Hollywood?
The main characters r targets as I like to call them.... lmao brooker is a legend Im Australian and never saw a single ep of this on telly, thank god for youtube
@Kinshasa9200 doesnt it suck watching this in the states when its all about english telly? glad you like it though, watch 'the day today' or 'brasseye', greatest english comedies of all time :)
Charlie Brooker - relentless, patronising, ironic self loathing fast paced delivery put downs that work so well leaves the recipient slightly shameful for being human like Carlin, Hicks, Steve Hughes the best comics make you think.
most great comics today our more social commentators/philosophers.
The News report of the troubles in the Congo seems more worthy of causing a nationwide moral panic than some fucking phone call. It was expertly subtle to include that footage, but probably had the most sincere point.
Charlie Brooker surpasses all other british comedic talent by distance in my opinion. It's all so blisteringly articulated but also incredibly accessible and hilarious. Utter legend.
Charlie Brooker definitely is a zombie fan, his opening theme is from the 28 days later soundtrack, 9 minutes in he plays a song famously used in Dawn Of The Dead (which if you know what the movie is actually about, you will understand its connection).
i didnt give a toss abut the brand and ross thing.i just think they are both a pair of cunts who are as funny as catching your balls on a barbed wire fence.
@zatoichi12345 well i think you may no get them because while there on your probly hiding under a desk fingering yourself, Russell was the best "character and if you didnt really know his origins from the past things hes done, you probly wouldnt of got him..that or your slow ;)
4:00 you know he wants to laugh. Seriously who cares about a load of P.C. Gimps who jump the OFCOM bandwagon. Not trying to sling mud back but andrew sachs did play the "loveable" spaniard who was always getting slapped and burnt.
yea i know what you meant, i was just saying that when i asked what song it was, i obvisouly didnt mean the song that they were singing, i meant the background music. No worries though (cheers for your compliment!)

Its as if he doesn't understand whats wrong with what they did. He can talk about free speech and the papers all he wants but it doesnt change the fact that what they did was horrible.
dont drive this man back to drugs and death, like, the great jim morrison, and kurt cobain, elvis, JESUS, revolution, ect, let this man live and let us love him while hes still alive.
