Then someone will say that meth is safe .................. If ..................... I say NO to legalising any kind of drug. I am skeptical about some of the ones that are now legal.

You have every right to be skeptical about tobacco and alcohol as how both are quit bad. However, even caffeine kills more than marijuana does. Alcohol and tobacco still don't carry anywhere near the same health risks that meth do and nobody can back up a claim as outrageous as meth being safe (even tho adderall is pharmaceutical grade meth...). Marijuana is relatively safe though and had quite a few pages dedicated to its medical uses in the pharmacopoeia before it was removed.

oh, and if you really care then you should look up the movies "The Union Business behind getting high" for a good lay out of the history and reasons about why marijuana became illegal and such. You may also want to check out "In Pot We trust" but at least watch the video on youtube labeled "Judge Jim Gray Part 1: In Harm's Way". This judge lays out much of the injustice non smokers don't see and it will take less than 30 mins to watch all 3 parts.

Legalise marijuana now, what next, cocaine, meth?

Those kill and such, weed is less harmless than alcohol. I don't think hard drug addicts should be a criminal problem though to the extent it is unless they are giving them to children. Marijuana should be a personal choice as is alcohol and treated as such. I think weed being illegal gives hard drugs a harmless front runner to cause more use of hard drugs because of the forced association with drug dealers and criminal lifestyle. Prescription pills are as much a hard drug as meth.
