  • Every time I see Roger B. Smith, I'm glad I drive an import.

  • All she still owed was a fucking $150 bucks.

Fucking Capitalist fucking Pigs, I swear.

Any assfuck who comes in here praising the wretched fucks who bow to this sick form of

economic behavior, should be hung by his balls. Seriously. Get people HELP, that need the help. Don't effing treat them like stray dogs in the street. People WANT to do right. They WANT to pay all their bills on time and live in dignity! Wtf about that dont you fucks understand?! They just need help sometimes!

  • @oldjizzy 2 words: TOUGH SHIT! pay the money or GET OUT

  • Oh, and suck a cock, KEVIN LEFFLER of Davison, Mi.

  • Wonder why I don't buy GM again?

  • Is Michael Moore's voice three keys higher in this film? Great production nontheless!

  • Moore caused more problems for Flint than he solved. I'm still waitin for him to invest majorly in Flint. Read the truth about Moore at "Michael Moore is a big fat white guy" & "Do as i say, Not as i do" And the documentary "Shooting Michael Moore" here on youtube.

  • @MrOphachew --This movie was nothing more than one big cinematic cheap shot at Flint, Michigan and General Motors.

  • Michael Moore caused more problems for Flint than he solved. Watch here on youtube "Shooting Michael Moore" by one of Moores own high school classmates. Greedy unions with their outrageous and ridiculous demands killed Flint. Also, Moore hasn't contributed anything positive to Flint that has ever made much of a diff.

  • @MrOphachew Actually NAFTA killed Flint.

  • @cemott3rd -"Actually" it was the UAW that "killed Flint".

  • @MrOphachew No it was NAFTA, and greedy management, but you probably think Lordstown was about lazy hippie union workers too. Millions of manufacturing jobs go overseas in the last 30 years, so it must be the lazy American workers fault, not the bad trade deals we've made. =/ The Germans would never let this happen to Stuttgart, and if the unions were out of line (which has hapened) there is no reason that it couldn't be arbitrated, but thats not what GM wants, it wants slaves @ $5hr

  • @cemott3rd -Nope, it was UAW and greedy unions. The UAW gave away those jobs. It was the UAW and it's rediculous and pointless demands over the last 40+ years that did it. The UAW hasn't contributed anything to production since the 60's. I used to think like you until I saw job banks with my own eyes. They got paid 40 to 60 grand a year to do nothing but sit around playing computer games, put together jigsaw puzzels, play cards all day.

  • @MrOphachew Well that was a waste by the UAW and GM. Gemany also did something similar by keep their people on the line part time. Some were even trained more during this period of low demand and production until they were needed again when demand rose. Of course the desire here by management has been to wash its hand of the union American worker, because they believe them to be usesless, costly, lazy and arrogant. American big business care about bottom line costs, and nothing else!

  • @cemott3rd-The Union haven't contributed anything to production since the 60's. This is all the result of the unions work 2 hrs get paid for eight attitude. Not to mention there is far to much competition in the auto industry these days. The management is correct in how they see the union American worker. They are simply over paid and under worked(more over paid than under-worked).

  • @cemott3rd- I had a family member that would go in to work clock in. Then leave and go home and mow his lawn and sit around his yard drinking beer all day then go back in and clock out. Not to mention the workers that would clock in then leave and go work other jobs then go back in and clock out. This went on too much for too long and was done by too many people for far too long.

  • @MrOphachew Yes it did happen, But the vast majority of hourlys were good workers. It was up to management to quell that stuff too. Why didn't they? Sure, there will always be a few lazy bum bad apples. Even board rooms have them. But dont try and insinuate that Union workers are mostly all lazy do nothing bums.

  • @oldjizzy -Nope!.you are another one that is trying to unsuccessfully argue numbers. Truth be told there where only a few good hard workers (very few) most of them are do nothing good for nothing, work 2 hours get paid for eight types. A few bad apples does not lead to a vacant lot on Dort hwy between Robert T & Davison rd. in Flint Mi. The only miss-management that went on was caving into the UAW and it's ridiculous demands for years.

  • @cemott3rd Thats not what the union wanted. They wanted 30 and out, they wanted the first day of hunting to be a paid day off(as if they didn't have too many of those anyway). They wanted to work 2 hrs and still get paid for eight. And that's only if they bothered showing up to work at all.

  • @MrOphachew Sorry but your claims that such activity was widespread or even happened at all I find absurd, but I am sure that the management at GM would love folks to believe it to justify their decisions. GM is better off without Roger and the unions have made large consessions over the years, and working with the unions has brought GM back to number one in the World again!

  • @cemott3rd - Then you're just kidding yourself. I'm sure the something for nothing unions love it when you post. Indeed GM is better off without Smith. But GM will never be Nu. 1 again because there's way too much competition and any concessions the uaw makes is a simple matter of 'too little too late'. Besides the bail out might have helped Detroit but Flint & Genesse County continues to come out on the short end of deal.

  • AMERICA NEEDS NATIONAL RECOVERY ACT

  • I may be just a cook, but my knowledge can get me a job anywhere. My mother is a teacher and even though they pay isn't great she can always find a job and have a roof over he head. I would rather be a minimum wage worker than be a crooked CEO and make people miserable.

  • American should really tell the mortgage industry where to go and STOP MORTGAGING HOMES!!!!

  • That GM guy was like soooo many so called Christians, Republican Christians I call them. They actually think speaking the words of the Christian teachings is what Christianity is all about. Then they live high on exploitation and indifference and think nothing of it.

  • @69rawiri Yes I am a heartless prick, in Capitalism some people win and some lose....TOUGH SHIT. I was wise enough not to have a family so I can just build tons of reserves while others starve.......

  • Comment removed

  • On the DVD commentary, Michael Moore says that him and the film crew were all crying after the eviction footage. I don't blame them. Who wouldn't cry after witnessing such sadness?

I'm tired of all the sadness that Reaganomics has brought us to this day.

Republicans, please stop getting in the way of Obama's hope and change. None of you have a strong candidate, and Obama will be re-elected in 2012 to help America become a socialist country! Have a nice life and I hope your mother dies soon!

  • @StraightFashionMan wake up. obama is the same talking head as any republican. watch the movie media malpractice its based on real facts. like the fact that he won his first political position by default.

  • @StraightFashionMan fuck them.....they didn't pay their bills and they got evicted....TOUGH SHIT

  • Hey Roger, Charles Dickens would FUCKING HATE YOU, asshole

  • @unfortunatebeam Sorry...GREED is GOOD and people like you are leeches that bitch when you lose in life. Some people win and some lose in Capitalism TOUGH SHIT

  • @gopconservative78 Yeah and that loss is someone else's gain. So look out, someone like you might need a kidney, Mr "I don't give a shit about others: Greed is good" moron. The leeches are the One Percent sucking this country dry and using that enormous wealth to shove everybody to the side. Just because someone has the power to *take* doesn't make it just or even reasonable. Absurd stupid thinking based on self serving retardation.

  • @Textynn people like you are jealous of success and you live on government cheese leeching off the system. Greed is a wonderful thing and should be embraced. People liek you are worthless scum and mean nothing in the scheme of things.

  • @gopconservative78 Jealous of unenlightened egocentric toddler brained halfwits?? Hardly! I'd rather die of starvation in a homeless tent than be that unevolved and dim. Currently, taxpayers subsidize Walmart's bottom line to the tune of a billion and half a year. Walmart pays a slave wage and society has to essentially support their workers that makes the six Walton heirs as rich as the bottom 3rd of Americans combined. God forbid they pay their workers a living wage.

  • @Textynn They don't have to do shit! Your not forced to work there. Walmart perfected a great idea and make $22 billion a year in profits which is great! however, worthless leeches like you just bitch and moan and ask for a handout without working for it. It will be fun watching you worthless people starve......

  • @gopconservative78 You continue to show just how uneducated and simple you are. Walmart was an example of how our economy works. It is set up by the 1% run government, forcing people to believe that working for a slave wage is acceptable. No REAL conservative would want to see an economy set up where employers don't have to pay their employees what they are worth and then expect those employees to need charity at which point they are called "worthless" . SICK

  • @Textynn Actually I Do and I'm VERY proud of it. Your not insulting me its an honor for more greed!

  • @gopconservative78 Well it doesn't take any talent to abuse and exploit people. As easy as shoving and an old lady over for her purse. I guess if I was a talentless mentally disabled loser I would be afraid to live without sucking off of as many people as i could screw over. Nahhh, I could never go there.

  • These corporations better start listening to Americans, they are out numbered 99 to 1! LOL !! The people united, is true power and true freedom.

  • I imagine he died in 2007 with shame and will have to have a long talk with God.

  • @toolbar2345 I wonder if they fit all his money in the Casket, or did they cremate it. He's probably talking to Satan by now. I would imagine.

  • This scene is a masterpiece in American cinema. Michael Moore is a gifted filmmaker.

  • BAA-BAA-BEE-DOO-BAA!!!!!

  • Roger Smith, the Wall Street Journal and most corporate types don't give a fuck about blue collar folks in Flint, Michigan and they never will. From their point of view, the people in Flint are just a bunch of disposable niggers. Their arrogance towards the lower classes is what motivates the Occupy Movement.

  • Its a shame that after 23 years It still like this in my hometown. General Motors holds FULL responsibility!

  • What a asshole he is!

  • The union shut the plant down.

  • @pirucreek Trufax.

  • >>Blaming Roger is irrational.

Of course. STOP BLAMING, NOW OCCUPY.

  • #Occupy

  • Roger Smith is my hero :)

  • Blaming Roger is irrational. It's not his fault that people don't make the effort to make themselves more marketable. Liberal bias is so powerful, and yet so irrational. If there's no more jobs in Flint, then they ought to start looking for work elsewhere.

  • @Jiffypistol You are not a human being. Your total lack of empathy to other humans in distress has landed you in a catagory with nazis and serial killers, and it is no excuse that there are many more out there that think the same way you do. A society will not long survive where sentiments such as yours dominate, nor should it.

  • @TheAmazingMorse Rather than focus on the problem, I focus on the solution. Don't you progressives feel the same way? Or did you just prefer to ream me out because this family is black and your liberal white guilt drove you mad?

  • @Jiffypistol Hitler focused on a solution too. I don't give a shit if the family is black or not. Sick is sick. Blaming the victim is sick. Yes it would be nice if everybody could travel to whatever jobs are out there. My father died shortly after I graduated from college. I chose to stay in my small town to take care of my mother. What is your solution for me?

  • @TheAmazingMorse

    >I chose to stay in my small town to take care of my mother.

That's your solution then. Admirable. I wish you the best of luck.

  • 2:18 thats my dad changing the door knobs! lol and my two cousins removing things out the house lol wow!!!!! i thought ill neva see my dad in the 80s

  • Rot in HELL Roger Smith.

  • You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry; he's puttin' you out So don't try to hide DEPUTY FRED is Coming to town! He's makin' a list, so it would be wise, to get your rent paid before you realize: DEPUTY FRED is Coming to Town! He knows if you've been lyin' he knows the laws of the state, he don't care if you've been bad or good if your rent's just a month late. So, you'd better watch out, He's not going to lie, This city's tough, Mike's telling you why DEPUTY FRED is Coming to Town!
  • thumbs up if you think Fred Ross sounds like cleveland from family guy

  • Roger's speech: just typical unnecessary generalization and nothing special. I bet deep down, those people clapping just did it so that old Roger wouldn't get saddened by how they really feel. He sucks at public speaking! Why didn't he just tell them what they would like to hear instead?

  • Moore sounds like a nerd.

  • get let go by GM go work for Toyota NO UNIONS TO FK IT UP!

  • Whoever talks about how using White House banquet footage would have same effect obviously doesn't understand what is most effective here: The irony of Roger Smith's using Dickens to illustrate the real meaning of Christmas. Moore was handed the ending on a platter by that.

  • General Motors has pretty mediocre a cappella singers

  • haven't watched this movie, but what does those black people getting evicted have to do with roger smith>?

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King well those negroes should have obtained an education

  • @gopconservative78 OBVIOUS TROLL IS OBVIOUS

  • All hail sheriff deputy Fred Ross! The coolest man who ever lived!

  • @Forbiddenevil1986 He truly is an enigma. It makes you wonder: is he the anti-villain of this film or a tragic hero? Without complaint, he takes his unpleasant task and manages to fulfill it with uncompromising resolve.

  • The people they showed being evicted never worked for GM. And they appeared to have never worked ever.

  • @TELEVISIONARCHIVES You know, what leads to the decay of a city is not just the source of income but the people who live in it. If you have unstable adults whose only mask of stability is an income, that is subject to change once the center of income is disestablished. Kids in inner-city schools don't succeed often because parents are unsupportive. Flint's future depends on its coming generations, which, in turn, depends on the supportiveness of the parents.

  • One thing I found out was the many lies in this movie. ABC never had a Satellite Truck stolen . Nightline never planned to do a live show from Flint. Moore made it all up. Also, At a flashy "Great Gatsby"-style party, they hire the out-of-work to pose as "human statues." . Not correct. That party was a charity even for the poor. The human statues were hired actors for that event. Moore only showed the black actors to make it look racist. The man who held the charity event sued Michael Moore

  • capitalism may god help us!!!!(we are change)

  • Great propaganda--but juxtapose the evictions happening right now with one of the Obama White House's lavish parties (or the First Lady living it up in Spain) and you would get the same effect.

  • The point is that instead of keeping americans at work these people chose to give themselves raises, have these lavish christmas parties, and produce inferior products. These people are not Capitalists, they're the pinnacle of greed.

  • Roger Smith I hope Satan is twisting the pitchfork he has up your ass, you motherfucker!!!!!! I hope you rot in HELL!

  • @gopconservative78 No,Flint(and now Detroit) are capitalist shit holes. They were great cities before capitalists like Roger Smith came in, sent the jobs to Mexico, thus also destroying the great quality of the cars.
