That guy must have had to save up quite a bit for his illegal and somewhat dangerous toy. That flying low and like a hotshot might catch up with him. Even in "real" helicopters it would just take getting into a vortex ring state just once to ruin your day. Bobbing up and down quickly like that is just seems like asking for it.

Im not sure this is fake, making a helicopter (especially of that caliber) is not too difficult to make, just time comsuming and expensive. The hardest part would be finding the right balance of weight between the engine and metals, and the right angles for the propellers to generate the right airlift.

The only people who say this is fake are the people who have absolutely no aeronautical or mechanical knowledge, skills or abilities. There is lots of evidence that this is real and besides these tin cans aren't hard to make. Things like this, planes, gyrocopters, and all other kinds of mechanical objects are actually simple and easy to make if you are willing to spend a day or so researching how they work.

It's not a gyrocopter, djjride7. As you said yourself, a gyrocopter has an engine producing forward thrust. This is a helicopter, a helicopter in a faked video.

If anyone knows anything about gyrocopters then they would know that they do not work like a helicopter. The thrust is coming from the rear propeller and the rotor blades spin with forward motion giving you lift. They do not produce any down force to the ground hince why there is no dust! This is 100% real!

It has a tail rotor for yaw,not a rudder.That means its a helicopter.And just because your dumb ass couldnt do it doesnt mean somebody else couldnt.Maybe somebody who at least knows what the difference between a helicopter and an autogyro for instance.Next time you're "100% sure" about something,make sure your at least not talking out your ass.

Its mass is incorrect, its movements are too quick for its size (2:30 is one magic takeoff), the blur at 1:07 feels like it's not in-camera, the people don't act the way someone would act that close to an erratic flying machine, the rotoscoped-looking objects flying off the ground, it doesn't move true to the lines of perspective... It feels fake.
