  • Is it ok if i come visit lol i live in bedington near the hartlands

  • This was down in Bedlington Station from what I remember. Can't remember the street/estate but I could find out if you want to visit for a look, man.

  • @XrjakeX Thanks that be epik i dont live far from bedlington station =)

  • great job mate

  • Thanks, man. Its a bit better than it was originaly.

  • cool pond

  • Should be clear now. I'll have to have a re-visit and video it when you can actually see the fish clearly.

  • hot i love it

  • Thanks, man.

  • The OASE filter is (in my opinion) the best pressure filter you can buy. The build quality is so much better than the competition. The click fit connectors are handy on the Laguna filters and pumps but if you wanted to totally strip down the OASE filtoclear, you would just unscrew the hosetails which is hardly a major task. If you have a 1000 gal. pond, I would definately go for the largest model (15000)

  • nice work men! im building a 1000 gal pond right now but i dont have filter yet would u recommend that oase filter?i dont know what to buy oase filtoclear, laguna pressureflo or tetra pressurized filter?please tel me if that filter works well ..tnx

  • Nice work. Would you be able to tell me what the Gph (Gallons per hour - or whatever rate of flow measurement you use) was on that cascade both before and after your work. It looks like you toned it down by about a half of what it was. Many thanks.

  • The pump is an Aquamax 16.000 eco which was unrestricted on the 'before' shots. It was probably producing about 13500 l.p.h once it had passed through the pressure filter. I fitted a controllable 'Y' piece to split the flow between the old filter and the new filter so that the flow could be regulated to prevent the sort of water loss that was occuring. On turning the flow down, yes, the flow was more or less halved to 8000 l.p.h or around 1800 g.p.h.

  • how ever hard you try ponds will not be "cool"

  • I've fallen in plenty, and believe me - they are cool, very cool.......and wet.

  • Thank you for telling us how to do this thing.

  • No worries

  • nice job matey ! geoff (bigpond) carter

  • Thanks, man. I generally don't do formal ponds but as this was for koi in a neat garden it seemed to work well.

  • Oh man, that "before" pond was really bad. Hope they didn't pay the 'expert' too much for it!. Good job on the "after". Nice minimalistic lines, I like!

  • The problems with earth slippage was caused by leaking water from the cascade, but to be honest, that was only one of the things that needed fixing. Third time lucky....

  • EXCELLENT!!

  • great work my friend.

  • Nice optik because:

i mean .... to small for Koi ....

    The Waterfall is to synthetical

  • The finished pond was approx. 3.8m x 3m x 1m deep which was around 11.000 litres. The waterfall was the original from the old pond and the rockery had yet to be planted to 'soften' it. As far as artificial falls go, it was a good one - from Rockways. Still prefer to build my own though. Thanks for the comment.

  • Wow.. nice job.. and whats more happy fish and owner! :P

  • I always try my best, and supposedly God likes that. Why have I got sore bones and creaky joints then?
