I noticed in the NES version, the enemies outside the mountain pass were nothing but large insects, so I'm glad they removed them in the remake, cause I have to admit, it was a dumb idea to start with. But they still kept the man eating plants. They just so happen to be bear traps instead. So kudos to Grin and Capcom for making such a fantastic remake!

You must have the upgraded bionic arm, but i haven't found it myself.

It's not a matter of finding, but rather earning. You have to complete Area 06. As you may have noticed that you don't have to go in numerical order.
