I miss the 80's, period! I miss being little back then, driving my KITT pedal car, doing 180's in KITT on the paved, sloped driveway. I'd walk KITT up the driveway, coast KITT backwards, and about half-way of the driveway, sling it around. God, i miss that! LOL =) Yeah, this is definately a rare video! Thanks for posting!

@richwutang  'jumping the shark' often refers to a point where a series plot becomes absurd, the story lines become unbelievable, and unlikely. this is often done in a desperate attempt to revive interest. i think this episode was a perfect example of 'jumping the shark'

@spankham73. No, not really.. this was no more unbelievable than other episodes, just a bit of cross marketing to get the ratings up. It wasnt as if KITT came in a saved the day with a turbo boost or something (that would be jumping the shark) this had an actor, David, saving some kids getting blown up. They didnt pretend that knight rider was real, just that they snuck onto a dangerous set. So you are still wrong... sorry.

@magicalgirl They couldn't get him since he was doing St. Elsewhere at the same time. They actually had Jim Ward doing the voice for KITT at the time. He just recently won an emmy and is currently working as the voice guy on the Stephanie Miller show ;)
