The news have been a great diservice to all of us since this war started. The looneybin Bush fans and the corperate media have betrayed us. ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS! BE A TRUE AMERICAN! THROW BUSH AND HIS CROONIES IN JAIL!
Right, it's all CNN's fault. It couldn't have anything to do with say us being lied into a war for corporate profit, Bush firing the generals who disagreed with him, not sending in enough troops, and sending them in without proper equipment? Nah, couldn't be. It has to be CNN.
You were not a very good student in school were you? Read my comment again and try to paraphrase the meaning of it again. Or actually, no, go read a book, or three, you need the practice.
Better paraphrasing. Now, do you see the difference between that and your previous paraphrase ("it's all CNN's fault").
They simply repeated what they were told, and now they're saying they were no participant in the war effort, as if they have no effect on their viewers! They were cowards for not questioning, and are cowards for not recognizing it now. Sorry, but it's kinda obvious it's not "all their fault", but they sure threw oil on the fire.
Cafferty is wrong on this one. The media totally failed this country. They are not supposed to just accept what the politicians tell them and pass it on to us. What happened to investigating and asking tough questions? The media are also cowards for only reporting the facts that are popular.
There's a fundamental difference between "asking tough questions," and so hating whoever's in power at the moment that you take the side of the enemy (whether internal or external) clearly out of spite. Unfortunately, a lot of people in the MSM are part of the latter group.
DO NOT TRUST: FOX, CNN, ABC, NBC, NY Times, NY Post, and only Olberman in MSNBC IF Olberman is not so called "good cop" PNAC = 9/11 + IRAQ = USA Mein Kampf GOP+DEM+MEDIA+Other companies+Arms industry. Ans PSB is 65%-70% accurate.
I agree with alot of what Jack says, but the media is partly to blame here. It is their job to inform the citizens, instead they all just jumped on the post 9/11 bandwagon and sold out the people.
Obviously, the whole rant that Cafferty did was in his part defend, like most journalists, "the People's right to know" with that knowledge comes great responsibility. Just ask Dan Rather.
This is far different from the Jack Cafferty I grew up watching in New York on WNBC. That Jack was a little low key, this Jack was all Jacked up in comparison.

off course not, it's using the same sources. Just watch and listen, but do not change your opinion because of it, be skeptical about all you hear, perhaps even do some research of your own on subjects you like. PNCATTACK is right, not many media can be REALLY trusted. Even just 80% truth means 20% of bullshit.

Unless I'm mistaken, and please correct me if I'm wrong, you called CNN cowards and said fuck you to them.
Unless you were being sarcastic there's not a whole lot to paraphrase.

Ok, yes, I phrased my comment badly, but it was still in the same area. You said CNN let us down.

You'd rather the media just accept what MoveOn[dot]org, Code Pink(o), the enviro-wackos and the other loony lefties tell them?
