I would advise getting a microphone - they're cheap. Easily less than $10, £5 or whatever other currency you care to think of.

Speech provides a much better idea of what's going on and can be done simultaneously. I'm pretty sure it's easy to get hold of some freeware that will allow you to overdub as well.
