i actually liked dw6 because it was historically inaccurate. i suppose i only could because i knew the history, but the game kinda shows us what would happen if things turned out differently, for instance if lu bu didnt die and wanted to fuck up the whole land.
6 was the worst for me because of 2 things: there's only certain characters that have a story mode and they totally ruined Xiahou Dun for me they got rid of his awesome sword and gave him some slow ass club thing and makes him unplayable for me and hes my favorite one of the series. but im glad DW 7 gave it back to him now hes badass again
No, you are wrong! Free- camera was the best thing they added for me in 6 and 7. It's not confusing at all, if you know how to position your camera and change angles it will make the action game play a lot epic and less boring--and the fighting becomes more action kick ass like. Try it for yourself!
DW 7 had more accurate stories and every thing was supppose to happen as planned--well, most things. But characters who are suppose to die, dies except for Gan Ning for some reason.
IMO 4 was the best because DW was perfected with 4. This was good because four was amazing but bad because now it's gotten repetitive.
You can't really improve all that much off of four to make it feel like a whole new enhanced epic game to get excited about. This isn't bad though. The best games/series are probably repetitive in their own respect.

For instance - Since the beginning of playing this series (which has been years) I have played without blocking..If I block it is duely an accident..And that is only one way...
Dynasty Warriors 5 was amazing! Loved it! DW4 was a little stupid with the hole weapon level up thing. I get DW6 in like 4 or 5 days... cant wait should be fun! :D

not really, empires is more tactical as you take the place as the forces commander and choose tactics and battle strategies. The normal version is story based, you choose a character and play through there story.

I found the higher the level the more they struck and the harder they became. But then again I play it casually I don't really much try to make myself a king of the game lol.

You got it all messed up. Extreme Legends is an expansion to the Original version. All characters in Extreme Legends would have musou modes and other stuff to make the game more fun, but needs the original version to play too. Empires is strategic and have empire mode instead of musou mode. It seems you can edit a lot of things in Empires like edit mode, where you create characters. It also does not need the original version to play. GET IT RIGHT MAN!
about d camera angle it is like samurai warriors'. i use a trick on how to face d enemy easily w/out having wrong camera angles. btw u said ur a fan the series since d gud old days right??? u must know d trick.
Even though I like the game, the main problem I have with it is that most of the characters have the same moveset and the only characters that have an original moveset are the ones that are used in Musou Mode. Good review by the way
yea, i'm a huge fan and was disappointed with a lot of stuff and liked a lot of stuff, i wish everything was left alone, you just have to add things to make it better all the additions where great most changes suck, also i would LOVE online play.
i don't think anyone can truly appreciate Dynasty warriors unless they've read the story of Romance Of The Three Kingdoms and have a passion for Chinese history
ye its good game also the previews ones im a big fan of the series but they should have done something about the 6th one change it a bit coz its on current generation concoles so they should have be up to the expectation..
Dude the missions are short, they never take over 30min-45min and yeah one or two might take an hour but imagine these guys actually brawling it out. it would take way mroe than a simple hour. The camera i also find is actually an improvement. So many bad reviews on this game you guys almost actuall convinced me not to but it and that actually would have been amazing if it worked. True they screwed up on some things but this game is still really good.
dw7 is by far the beat game in this series in my opinion

You got it all messed up. Extreme Legends is an expansion to the Original version. All characters in Extreme Legends would have musou modes and other stuff to make the game more fun, but needs the original version to play too. Empires is strategic and have empire mode instead of musou mode. It seems you can edit a lot of things in Empires like edit mode, where you create characters. It also does not need the original version to play. GET IT RIGHT MAN!

about d camera angle it is like samurai warriors'. i use a trick on how to face d enemy easily w/out having wrong camera angles. btw u said ur a fan the series since d gud old days right??? u must know d trick.

less Selectable characters(minus 20 ish characters)
No Body Guard creation anymore

Even though I like the game, the main problem I have with it is that most of the characters have the same moveset and the only characters that have an original moveset are the ones that are used in Musou Mode. Good review by the way

yea, i'm a huge fan and was disappointed with a lot of stuff and liked a lot of stuff, i wish everything was left alone, you just have to add things to make it better all the additions where great most changes suck, also i would LOVE online play.

Dude the missions are short, they never take over 30min-45min and yeah one or two might take an hour but imagine these guys actually brawling it out. it would take way mroe than a simple hour. The camera i also find is actually an improvement. So many bad reviews on this game you guys almost actuall convinced me not to but it and that actually would have been amazing if it worked. True they screwed up on some things but this game is still really good.
