@masamune2984 As a Pakistani-Canadian myself, I have to say that Western media seems to exaggerate quite a bit (it's highly unlikely, for example, that you'd be blown up walking through most Pakistani cities) but some of it is truth. Unfortunately the scenery in this video is in the Northern Areas (where the Taliban is most powerful) but there is very beautiful scenery in other parts of the country, particularly near the Himalayas. I suggest you look up the Kalash people. Very interesting stuff.

Respond to this video... These areas, Northern Pakistan has the lowest crime rate in the world. People are very warm, friendly and most hospitable. There are lot of good quality motels, inns and cottages in these areas. ideal for camping, trekking, hiking and mountaineering.

Don't be amazed, this is not Pakistan. These are Gilgit Baltistan, which are disputed parts and not part of Pakistan. Pakistan has occupied these areas and has to vacate them as per UN resolution.
