I love how they comment about dialects and "differences" in their regional cultures, when Japan is about the fucking size of Montana. Shit that fucking nonsense annoys me so damn much. It's as if they deserve dialects and "cultural differences" when one can drive north to south of Japan in about a motherfucking day. AHHHHHGGGHHH!!!!
@cpp1 Sweetheart England is a lot smaller then Montana and let me tell you the amount of different dialects here is almost comical, a person from Lincolnshire for example would find it very hard to understand the cockney accent and slang, and a person from Manchester would find the London accent confusing. Different regions, different cities, different villages, different social groups, it all adds up. I'm not saying this to annoy you, but it’s the standard truth.
they don't "deserve" to have different dialects? as if certain places "deserve" anything.
that's just how it is. if your special little place is so wonderful, it should have lots of dialects, if not, who's fault is that? the people who live there. not the people who actually are diverse and have lots of dialects..
LOL when yauchi said "shut up" it reminded me of the funny as heck korean movie seducing mr perfect when the girl says drunk "shut up, just shut the f*** up" xDDD i fell over backwards laughing when i heard that :D
@IgnatzKolisch thx! I wish the show still aired, cuz it's so cute. I'm also very glad for Tsuji and her new family. I haven't heard anything on Ayaka though. I'll look it up. Anyways thx and Go Tsuji and Kago and Mari! Luv all you guys!
No. It was never a whole show, anyway. It was just a tiny segment of a show, and it was only done for about 2 years. There were 203 of them made, although Ayaka did do a couple of quasi-flashbacks of it later. (Yeah, I just found one: /watch?v=FNiG27sGFmQ This is at least several years after the last Ayaka's Surprise English Lesson). Neither Ayaka nor Tsuji are even with Hello! Project any longer; Ayaka isn't even with UpFront. Both are married, and Tsuji has 2 kids.
@donsherio I'm sure it's the same way when we learn Japanese...almost all of the forms of words I learned in my first semester weren't used when I would listen to my tutor and his friend talking.
@minhtambeast mari said "since i'm in mini moni" it was made clear to ayaka that she wants something that shows her authority over the other members in the group, because 2 of the members: tsuji and kago were very mischievous.
Hld your tounge? Hmm, i've never used that in my entire 14 years of english, but maybe thts just a polite way to put iyt . Hld your tounge, eh? Hmm, ii miyte start usinqq tht one.
It has now come out just how difficult Aibon and Nono actually were. Polite english definitely wouldn't work on those two. Yaguchi-san or Mika-chan or Aibon need to write a book about those days.
gawd! I always develope a craving whenever i see those desserts. the Japanese sure know how to make such attractive and delectable looking pasteries in the whole of Asia.
What about "Be quiet" -.-
NeruKissu 6 months ago
@ChiTsumai yeah....i get that idea....mostly upper class people use it i guess
i kinda think ayaka should've mentioned the literal sense....that if ur holding ur tongue, u cant talk....so thats the idea behind the phrase

Ayaka is from Kansai.
Kansai is the western part of the Honshu Island.

I guess it is a polite thing. Japaneses call pretty much everyone in the service business "sensai" (master).

yes, most of the Japanese language is based on levels of respect, for different people you are talking to.
