  • @1dducks I don't mean to dis your posting, but I don't think that it would be very good judgement for Nutn to provide anything that even remotely appears to be legal advice.

  • A great camo collectable.

  • carbon fiber inner scales. thats my idea. super strong. light weight. and not extremely expensive.

  • Now known as the Benchmade 3800 NTK

  • you are doing NO NONSENSE - NO BULLSHIT reviews

i can not agree with you more. been handling tactical knives for many years-

and you know what you are talking about.

    - love your videos.

  • wher do u get ur knives?!

  • Benchmade has bought out Lone Wolf Knives, so if you have one... you'd better keep it.

  • @shaokem benchmade announced that they were going to be releasing some of lone wolf's designs. Hoping this is one of them.

  • @lamiokayl That would be nice. I have a LoneWolf T2 with green micarta scales. I carry it every day. I just recently ordered a Beretta Harsey tactical folder... aka Fantoni HB 01. Also a great knife, a bit larger than the T2, but not by much. I'll be keeping my eye out for word from Benchmade on the fate of the LoneWolf design. Thanks for the info!

  • i do greatly appreciate your review.

i can only agree 100%. AWESOME KNIFES ! to bad they are gone forever !

  • only nutnfancy believes that 4.2 ounces is heavy

  • lol @ the sog flash cameo

  • Are the Lone Wolf T1, T2, T3 separated by generation(Endura, 2, 3 and 4), or size(such as the Flash 1 and 2)?

  • i'm dissapointed not 2 c this knife in Yourcornerstore's inventory...really kool knife...

  • This is my EDC that replaced my Spyderco Endura. Two things I don't like: 1. the tip down when carried in the pocket, 2. the cocobolo handle is too thin near the pivot. The company made me "buy" black scales and pay for shipping. They should have given free scales because the cocobolo defect is in the design and not use.

  • There is one on ebay right now. With a black micarta handle for $179.99 bin. I don't think they still make them though.

  • B E A Utiful.

  • They don't make this damn knife anymore I think. Does anyone know?

  • so whats actually "tactical" about it?

  • @fyttirackarn When Nutnfancy says that a knife is "tactical" that means that it can been used to defend your life in a self-defense scenario as opposed to ... a butter knife who can be quite usless in that roll.

  • excellent knife but hella expensive, quality is top notch but for the price I would buy 6 rat 1's lol

  • I think they discontinued this knife. Sucks.

  • P.S. If you buy online, where?

  • Watched this twice now. I REALLY dig this bad boy and I don't really mind the price point for such a all around heavy duty blade. Looks like a tank

Nutn, my friend. You are a service to lawful, sheepdogs.

    Thanks, man.

  • I think I'm going to buy this for my EDC.

  • dude they make this knife out of a cocobolo handle now its like 2.9oz

  • If only it had one of those perfect SOG bayonet clips...

  • as i am uk,it illeagal to carry lock knife hidden, but i still do! as i consider myself a ok guy,but i see many bad therats to me just on way home! so i am goin to protect myself,if that gets me in poo with the law,,fine with me! sorry just havin rant! lol-peace out Nutn,Manxman,uk.

  • You're a smart man.

Like you,"I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6".

I refuse to allow the state to force me into becoming a victim and/or totally dependent on protection by the police.

  • @dgl1962 I can see where you guys are coming from, but I hope you have given your weighing mechanism some careful consideration and used it accordingly when making this decision. I agree with your sentiments dgl1962, but for instance, it is illegal for my to conceal a handgun on my person (under 21, no license) and while I know I could much better defend myself with one, my circumstances do not merit taking such a risk. Maybe manxdude1 lives in some really rough areas, idk. Just be smart.

  • @Otrovo We're lucky down here in Florida,we can carry,we can buy assault rifles(semi) and have any magazine.

I have a concealed carry license, but I don't even carry a gun on me too often,I always have a .45 in my vehicle though.

Now that I have my weapons, this former Marine shall NEVER give them up to the state due to any court ruling.

  • @manxdude1 Sadly most commonwealth countries are the same. They believe in a system of total disarmament of society. Just look at what happened in Mumbai where 10 teenagers slaughtered 170 people up and down mumbai because all of them were defenseless. (police included! lol)

  • There seems to be 2 different blade styes.

    1. The full flat grind starts from the top of the blade like the one reviewed by NUTN

    2. The full flat grind starts mid-spine like one review by Cajunblaze.

What are the differneces? Both say T2 and i cant find the one reviewed here

  • I checked the vid by Cajunblaze and I can understand your confusion. The "full flat grind" that Nutn is referring to, is the taper from the spine to the beginning of the edge grind. But the actual blade shape, is considered a "drop point". The knife Cajun is reviewing, has a "spear point" blade shape. By "flat grind" Cajun is referring to the actual edge grind, which i believe is the same for both. Just like blade shapes, there are many different edge shapes like, convex, chisel, etc.

  • Cocobolo is gorgeous

  • Anyone know how long the blade can be in Maine for it to be legal? Mine has a 4.5 inch blade, 8.5 inches open...I'm not sure if it's legal I carry it with me everywhere.

  • Dude? YT is not the place to check whether some thing that could be a felony or even a misdemeanor, is legal. Most state statutes are avail online or at your local library. If you dont feel comfortable doing this for yourself, check with your state's attorney general's office or a lawyer. My state's laws are very vague about knives, but I believe that is for their benefit, not mine. A CCW permit, which I believe Maine has, should CYA. But seriously, DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!!!

  • It depends in your local government, every city has different rules, including those specifing knife and sizes, atleast here in Mexico

  • Another question if I cant get the T2, and decided on the D2 instead, is the blade going to loosen up fort the manual opening on the D2?

  • Hey nutty! I want a T2 ranger real bad! :)

They seem to be hard to find...If you help me out I´ll owe you one! :)

  • Are lone wolf frn any good cause they seem kinda cheap. like the cheap kershaw frn

  • Beautiful knife! Love the Camo in the handle. Nice Blade CPM S30V!

  • weight? balance? A person with the wrist strength of an infant girl would not worry about such things. It is a POCKET KNIFE!!! Weight and balance are a complete non-issue with folding knives. Even the large ones, such as the six inch ti-lite, can be clipped inside the pocket and completely forgotten about. As informative as nutnfancy's reviews are, his whole issue with weight and balance is becoming extremely annoying. It is completely his idiosyncrasy and not a genuine area of concern.

  • I have a benchmade ruckus that I stoped carrying because it was just too heavy.

  • Action? Excitement? A Jedi craves not, these things.

  • thats exactly what i was thinking

  • Just ordered one! My friend got the automatic version, double action, its a reeal nice knife! You should really have one!

After I handled the T2 I ordered one right away!

  • Combatkobe you can get that knife from kutters knives in Nepean ont . it is 250

  • ok this a serious question how did you close it cause i just got mines and yea haha !!

  • @ JMIME45, if your still trying to figure it out, there's a liner lock on it, so push the metal plate that's bent between the handles under the bottom of the blade to its origin side and close the blade

  • Thankz i finally found out haha that same day thankz

  • if you don't know how to close the knife hmmm maybe you shouldn't have one lol jk man that is a awesome knife got one myself

  • Are you serious about removing a half ounce of material? Why risk ruining a great knife just to save HALF an ounce of weight?

  • Lone Wolf knives are really expensive, but they are great and perfect finish on it too

  • 200 dolars for that shit whats rong with a sharp stick

  • there are only two kinds of nives stabing and cuting

  • IF it does both...does that make 3?

  • Does anyone know where I could order this from a Canadian site? Preferably with the black blade

  • kuttersknives

  • After carrying and using the cocobolo version for quite some time, I do have a small issue with the star keys required to tighten everything up.

It uses two separate sized star keys to hold the construction together. It wouldn't have killed them to go with one single size...not a huge deal but just one more piece of support gear you have to buy to maintain it.

  • From what I heard is that in order to carry a blade longer than 3.5 inches you need your CCP. In CA. that is. Still cool knife though.

  • should i get this or a benchmade 710

  • get whatever you want dude.

  • I just opened up mine and first impressions are a weak pocket clip and a slick handle on the green/black version. The grip I can deal with because it is so ergo and had decent gimping but the pocket clip twangs and doesn't touch the actual handle.

  • Right on...I own one of these (in black) and couldn't agree more. My favorite overall folder out of a shelf filled with nice designs by Benchmade, Buck, Kershaw, Spyderco, and Victorinox. Great review as always - keep up the good work!

  • you need to review the ka bar warthog/folder btw love your vids

  • I love how true knife lovers can end up spending ten minutes talking about their favorite knife... :)

also check out the Greber quick draw... pretty sweet spring-assisted knife...

  • u have so many of the same knife dude u r my hero

  • How come?

  • cuz I cant find a stainless blade that holds an edge any time at all.

  • The description on the right explicitly says that it has CPM S30V steel, which is an excellent, if not the best, cutlery steel in all categories (edge retention, corrosion resistance, etc.). If you need more information about CPM S30V steel, feel free to do an internet search on it.

  • Comment removed

  • My apologies for trying to answer your question without grossly oversimplifying steel into stainless or carbon categories. If you had done an internet search, as I suggested, you probably would have seen from Wikipedia: "CPM S30V is a martensitic powder made *stainless* steel"

  • 154cm is better IMO...it sharpens up easily...

  • I didn't tear apart his video. I commented on this knife because I owned it. If you read my one comment I complimented his video saying how much he covered. And unlike you I don't use cursing to make a point, I just stated some facts about the knife, and yea a couple of opinions to help people who don't own it.

  • This is also a Harsey design, and it looks the same as the Gerber Harsey in another review.

  • i have a lone wolf knife that i want to sell but where do i sell it?

  • I forgot to metion before the T2 is 5.2 oz, you say in this video it's 4.2oz, not correct. Anyway, to worry so much about and pass a good knife up just because of the weight is a mistake. I find these super light knives feel cheaper, and aren't as balanced. Just my opinion, but I think they're more suitable for girls. Police walk

around with a five pound belt loaded with accessories all day long. what the hell is an oz or two either way.

  • In looking at yours again, not checkering but little bumps to add grip on handle, and nice camo color. Also on mine when closed blade was off center, and when I loosened the pivot it got worse. I know it's not a $500 custom, but my 12 yo $100 Benchmades blade is centered. And a little better fit and finish on a Benchmade. I'd say for $100 or so this Lone wolf would be acceptable, for close to $200, no way. I do like the clip, heavy duty. Good video, I think you covered a lot. Heavy duty knife.

  • Looks like yours has a more durable handle than my Red/Black Micarta handle. MIne was smooth, no grip, (actually I sold it). Your looks like it has checkering on grip. Even after I adjusted the pivot screw I found it deployed with effort, maybe it wasn't broken it, it was new, still. I did like the weight and don't like light knives. If your going to have to really use a knife you want a little weight for thrusting, not a light one. Needs more of a blade guard . Blade? it's nice, handle? OK.

  • dude if u care that much make your own video.

don't tear apart his and be an asshole

  • its hard to find this knife anymore... though i have found it. i notice nutn's T2 blade etching is not black on black... it looks like a cutout in the blackcoat on the blade. guess Lone Wolf later used the black on black? great knife!!!

  • ok... just got an email back from the place i had ordered this Camo version of the T2... and guess what! no more in stock, has been discontinued!!! WTF! ah well... guess i'll go plain T2 and then have the blade and hardware (furniture) black coated...

  • Nutnfancy if you get the chance you should get a Spyderco Mini Manix I have one and I love the heck out of it but they are discontinued and harder to find but get one if you can.

  • geeks

  • Hmmm... Nutnfacny you talk about liner material in this one. My favourite EDC knife, a banchmade HK Nitrous Blitz is one you might want to take a look at. It's an assisted opening knife, 154cm steel, mine is half serrated, but I think the best thing about the knife is the weight. It has a Titanium liner that really cuts the weight. Pretty sure it's under 4 oz. with a 3.5 inch blade. They're pretty cheap too if you can find them (for a high end EDC blade). Maybe you could fine one for review?

  • Must say this is my favorite tactical folder I have probably ever seen. Trying to get a good one to put in a crossdrawvest for under 150$ those. Great vids thanks for the info you provide nutn!!!!

  • I just got to handle one of these in a local knife shop. man, I wanted to take it home then and there. freakin' expensive though.. Got to take a look athe the T3 as well, now thats a beast of a knife!

  • Love the knife my friend has it. just a bit pricey for me

  • this reminds me of my crkt M1614LE very nice

  • The Perfect heavy duty folder would be handle constructed like the Zero Tolerance/Strider 0302 with a beefy titanium Frame lock,4 position clip,ect... Then give it the Blade of the Lone Wolf T2 Harsey Ranger knife.. I also prefer the shape of the Harsey Handle so they could copy that as well.. The ZT 302 would have hit a home run if they had put the Rat 3 blade into it... BTW this knife most def has TITANIUM LINERS NOT STAINLESS..And its pretty darn close to perfect...Great Review.

  • I totally dig the LW T2 ranger version.. Only the ranger versions have the full flat ground blade... the "Tactical" T2 has the grind starting much lower... I also believe this knife uses Titanium for the liners.. Its not a rich world for those who favor the full flat grind on Folders... BM has only the Dejavoo with a full ground blade.. Would love to see you review the BM 630 Skirmish and the Rukus 610, but i know that both exceed your 4oz limit and not as interesting to you.

  • Ya know, my D2 is one step better. Has a hidden switch turning it into a switch blade as well... the sound when done is enough to have an effect on someone...

  • Bill Harsey is the man.

  • hi nutnfancy...please make a review of a bushcraft knife

  • Excellent review, not really into the camo pattern blades and knives that you seem to like, but it's seems like a very nice knife. 5 stars.

  • Nutnfancy you should do a review on one of the Lone wolf Paul knives! Theres no review vids..

  • I may contact LW for some samples. Thanks all.

  • why have a lone wolf T-2 when you can have a T-3? it dosent matter one bit about the weight...

  • It means every day carry.

  • yup, I for one don't care about the weight.

    1. availability/afordability

    2. cutting/peircing ability

    3. rides well in a pocket

    4. coolness factor

ANOTHER GREAT REVIEW by nutnfancy!!!! keep cranking 'em out!

  • EVERY DAY CARRY =P

  • Exellent job!

Very good looking knife. I didn't get it beaucause of that clip, big and ugly, like some Kershaws have.

I got the Bradley Alias which is more suitable for EDC I think.

I'm looking forward for a Strider review...

    Take care man.

  • A Size-Comparison next to the T3 would have been fine. The black/silver one looks better in my opinion. The Rest of the Review excellent as always. Bye

  • Its every day carrying.

  • DO WANT. that is a sexy knife, I will seriously consider it for my next purchase.

  • Same here man looks awesome.

  • EDC is Every Day Carry. He says it in the first 10 seconds of the vid.

  • i think every day cutting...but thats my guess

  • ;D great review.

  • That sure is a great blade shape. i love the full flat grind, and S30 V steel. Looks like a Rat model 1 boosted up a bit with premium steel. Nice review

  • Your the man. I love all of your videos man, but theres just too many to comment on all of them haha, But i watch every single one of your videos and they all are awesome! Keep them up man!

  • awesome love ur vids and first view and comment
