I worked in Yellowstone for three summers during the 1980's, including my first summer in 1985 at the Old Faithful Lodge. I used to pass this every day and took it for granted. Now I would love to have the time to go see it again!

This summer I also went to YellowStone to see Old Faithfull. But Strokkur on Iceland will be my favourite, you can get a lot closer to Strokkur you know! And it blows about every 8 min or so and Old Faithfull about every 90 min.

But Old F was impressive too But different!

in the summer of 06' my brother and sister and I were in the Old Faithful Inn before the Inn opened up to the public, because of renovations. One of the daily thunderstorms was passing by and there was a crowd of people standing watching Old Faithful erupting. Needless to say I saw a kid that was sitting on the boardwalk get hit by lightning.
