I remember riding a bus home i was perfectly fine no cold no nothing until i touched this bus rail while standing up then when i got home i was feeling so sick i dont know if it was the flu but the systems were like the flu.

Seriously, because you touched a hand rail. What else did you touch that day? Couldn't have been any of the other myriad of things or people that you came in contact with over the coarse of that day; could it?

Metro also needs to wash it's railcars more often, the exterior that is. Some are real dirty.
