@christo930 - It works with the Stella emulator. I don't know if it works with the Cuttle cart, but it definitely works with the Harmony cart. You can also buy a cart version from the AtariAge store.
Great arcade game. I well remember playing this in the arcade at the top of Buchanan St in Glasgow (opposite the old Y Bird pub)- was it called Treasure Island?
It will be released on a cart later this year. However, you can download the binary free from the atariage forums (search for Juno - it won't let me post a link here) and play with an emulator.
It does look a bit like beamrider, but the game play is quite different (you can move forward and back for a start). It's actually based on the obscure Konami arcade game of the same name.
Is there a rom version available to check out? Looks really impressive.

@christo930 There is a ROM version available - google for "Juno First AtariAge" and you will find it.

@chrisdwalton Do you know if it works on the cutle cart? I noticed it is 32k. What emulator does it work with? Sorry to be such a pain.

Oh, yeah! Please tell me I can buy a copy of this cart. I just won an Atari on Ebay and I'd be thrilled to have some homebrew games. Excellent job!

@gamesDAMNED - This game, and many others, are available from the atariage store (atariage dot com slash store).

Doesn't look as fun as the original. But still reminds us of how things used to be.

Yes - it uses every last byte and cycle on the Atari 2600.

VERY IMPRESSIVE conversion! This would've sold like GANGBUSTERS back in the days of the 2600's prime.

Thanks - if only I had been able to write games back then :)

well done for a homebrew. 2600 is not easy to program
