  • Glad to see you have a functional antenna for your effort U will never be sorry if U invest in a Weller soldering gun for the heavier duty wire work, the solder work is done right now. I pre-streatch the wire before cutting to the calculated length I have heard a good answer to the question as to how much a factor wire insulation in the calculations

  • Well done what was your s w r ? I use a 40m with a 1 -1i balun works well on40 / 15m but I need a dipole for 80m

  • I'll give you an A+ for effort and for the way you have those elements stretched out nice and tight! :) A lot of guys use spreaders and leave the 40 meter elements hanging loose but I prefer the elements stretched out like yours. I have some related videos that you might also like. Good luck with your antenna projects and good DX! 73 :)
