Cedar Point always has the first of its kind rollercoasters. Top Thrill Dragster, tallest then Kingda Ka. Maverick, steepest then Farenheit. They should wait for something new to come out the make it even better.

When i rode this the lift hill caught me off gaurd with the accelerated rate it goes up. And the first drop scared the hell out of my. This coming from somewone who has been on Millennium Force. 10/10 ride

This coaster pwnz all the rest of the coasters at CP (yes, even Millennium Force ina way). The only way this ride could be rough is if you put your hands up the entire time in the farthest back row in the far right seat. That is where I sat for every single MAverick Ride (15 to be exact) BEST LOW TO GROUND INTAMIN EVER BUILT!! Can't wait to take on Skyscraper in 08!

I completely agree 100%. This roller coaster is great from beginning to end. Intaride and the design staff at CP did an incredible job. As a huge coaster fan I can say that Maverick is truly the dark horse of the Cedar Point Coaster arsenal.

I live by ther. And I helfd off on this ride till late summer. And I should have not. This is maybe the best ride in the park. Best layout and weird sensations on a coaster ever. Dont get me wrong I love M Force and TT Dragster still. But this ride is 40 times better than it even looks. Where Dragster is kinda the oposit of that. Its fast and wild. But its not any scarier than it looks "granted it looks scary lol." Maverick is just nuts! And a great layout and look to.

This ride is simply amazing, I didn't think much of it when I saw it I was so wrong!!! This I think is better than millenium force, one of the best coasters I've been on, fun factor, speed, surprise, simply incredible. Don't underestimate Maverick. It is the shit.

I rode this ride at 11:00 pm so it was pitch black when i rode it. The 5 degrees in the first drop may not seem like alot, but it makes a HUGE difference when your on it! Also, the launch tunnel; is really fun at night because of the flashing neon lights. Best ride ever!

This ride kicks ass! I rode it a few days ago and it is my new favorite coaster. Although it looks tame, IT IS NOT! It is a very wild ride and the launch in the tunnel almost seems to have more G's than Dragster. My favorite part of the ride, though, is the 95 degree drop at the beginning. It litterally thrusts you out of of your seat until your shoulders hit the shoulder restraints. This is the coolest coaster EVER!!!

Opened Saturday of Memorial weekend.

This ride hauls some major ass. Nice job showing it off Gonch. Not the best video in terms of editing or effects, nor music, but definitely the most exciting to watch, as I've been waiting a year and a half to see Mavy in action.
