when he talks about being gratefull about bad situations: because of the divorce of my parents, i bacame a buddhist. i'm alot happier, i have changed my inner-self and am hopefully helping other people in their lives. thanks Ajahn Divorce!
It's when things are at their worst that we can benefit the most from stopping, looking around and notice what we are grateful for.
It only takes a minute to show our gratitude to someone who has touched our lives, put its a minute that can warm that persons heart everytime they remember it.
We take people at "face value" far too much. Instead of truly reading between the lines and answering for a person's psychic cry for love/help, it gets blithly ignored and we become "grateful" that we're no longer of that mind and carry on at the expense of the others pain. We don't check in with each other enough.
Amazing Ajahn ! very wonderful view apart from normally known to me... really enlightening talk ... thank you'

He seems weak and old in this video... I hope he is able to become a Sotapanna in his life time.
