good games like these are what should be on download services, not crappy rereleases of titles that came out only a system or two ago...you know, actual ARCADE games ? why anyone would let gems like this go unnoticed and forgotten is beyond me, unless the corporation that licensed them has since dissolved.... thanks, massive corporations, for killing true gaming for everyone..

@protomanrg Some websites say that in fact, one of Gunstar Heroes' designers name HAN was a fan of this arcade game, he added some references from Edward Randy in Gunstar Heroes and other Treasure-developed titles.

Several people compare both final bosses of both games to Vega/M. Bison, but while Edward Randy is modeled after The Last Crusade, there were also Nazi generals in it. The film was a very hot topic back then. There's even another arcade modeled after it titled Runark (or Growl).
