This is a true story:

I was about to fly from Israel to Germany for a composition master class.

My teacher who was then in Syria tried to call me from there to verify some details.

Of course she didn't go through, 'cause the lines are blocked.

I had to use my Dutch online phone account in order to call her.

It made me think about the situation and write this song about us and who we are.

Like I say in the chorus:
