a person I know wanted that rabbit or it mightve been like the twin to that one,. not really the twin but it looked just like it, and you have cute animals as well. I added and subbed you:)
@happyhelen01 Uno is the black bunny and he is a french lop crossed with a rex, Tina (Himalayan markings) is a Netherland dwarf however, she may be crossed with something else as she is not show standard :)
@happyhelen01 They will happily eat other types of good quality hay. Since timothy has one of the lowest protein (What they use to grow and repair themselves) I would recommend meadow hay as its a mix of different grasses and really encourages them to eat more.
pps. I don't want you to think I'm irresponsible so for the record, I was giving te rabbit as a gift. A surprise if you would! Please do give feedback
Ps. I haven't got any hay lying around but I am attempting to get some Timothy hay the next week so in the mean time, would pesticide free grass be a suitable susbtitute along with some veges such as carrots and lettuce?
Hey I just got a rabbit a few days ago! Unfortunately I have no experience what so ever on rabbit care, but I have been researching like mad to learn all I can. I'm glad you put te time to put up videos, they really help! I only wish you did a demonstration on bathing a rabbit because I'm scared to do so after watching your last video on bathing a rabbit.
I have rye grass that I feed my pony, but it doesn't look as green as the one in the picture you showed. Its still ok to feed to my rabbits ins't it? Great video btw! :D
@SweetsxBunny Yes, as long as your hay is still green (maybe not as green as the picture but not a dull brown) and smells sweet and fresh with no mould/ dust etc it should be fine :) if you feed it to your horse i presume it is great quality and so should be good. All the pictures in this video are very green to show what good hay looks like (appart from the medow hay one which is like a drawing/ brown lol! but becaue i show my medow hay i didnt think that mattered too much.and aww thanks :) x
@chloemurray1994 but ps, timothy hay is actually a bit rich to feed all the time, so I wouldn't say it's the "best". I get the same hay as you, and Benji has become a right hay monster!
@chloemurray1994 Yeah, I had the same problem with Uno because when i first got him he was on baged hay from a pet shop and he would hardly ate any so we tried a lot of different types and the hay i get now is way better quality than the baged stuff, Uno can't get enough (well either can Tina but she has always been a pretty good hay eater anyway) he just loves it. Right ok, what makes it too rich? I'll put a caption on the video and give you credit :) xxx

Really good video! It annoys me when people don't give their pets hay at all because they think they just need it for bedding. :o
