I'm a PC gamer but I still prefer this version. It's all about the music. Going back to any other version is quite laughable

Did they have to have one room with a harsh green light and the next like a 0,0,10 blue? And they made level one's armour room PINK!

The audio may be dark but UAC bases sure are colourful.

Colored lighting, ambient music, and new sounds. These made up pretty well for the lesser detail in the playstation version. I guess making the game darker concealed that a bit more.

Good version of the game, i played it for the first time a couple days ago when I borrowed my buddies copy. I was always more of a PC gamer, so that is where my preferences lie, but this isn't a respectable port of a great game. No shame growing up playing this version... unlike some other versions I wont name.

PSX is emulator an oyu have to find bios to use its EZ to find but not many games for ps1 have a site that say 82 up an running ROMS.. not 100 yet

Pc version. the PSX is awesome, but nowhere near the greatness of the original.

Well, the sound effects too. The sound of the enemies as they fall makes me feel ill, it's so meaty.

Heh, I would disagree. I wouldn't call Doom a horror game. I would call it a fast-paced action shooter. But I doubt there's anyone around who would still call games like this by that.
