rob does have amazing finger style skills, he's a beast at that...but over all i like jason more, he had a great taste in basses (Sadowsky), he did a great job playing with a pick, he had a great tone and his basslines always make it seem like theres another sibling song under the real song that he plays by himself

I don't think they could've found a better replacement for Jason. Rob is fucking awesome! he fits right in there. I miss Jason and Cliff, but i'm glad they picked Rob. Something about him brings somekind of life back into MetallicA! MetallicA 4 Life!!

Metallica did a good job with balancing the music to James vocals on this album. Many of theyre older songs has in these times a tendency to make James voice sound pretty flat... XP
