@dallasbancroft, I loved it too. It made me cry and feel for the characters, all of thenm great. The story is very moving, Ernest Borgnine is still one of the best in the business. The fact that his war experience haunts him so much that he wants to die under the same Harvest Moon is very impressive. I hope that the film is nominated at least for an Oscar, him even too. They do not make moving great films like this one enough these days.

That's where you and she both started out together, at the Barter Theatre. I could hear her rich, throaty voice in my head saying, "It will be alright, darling," and it was. Looks terrific and what performances. I love all these older actors and actresses.
They really make you feel for their characters. Need more films like this.
