It looks like a frontloader in the same fashion in came stock, thus limiting you to use only whistlers and front load. If that is the case it seems the blaster would lose 60% or more of its power???

@mrwumboben It just has a longer barrel. On regular firearms this makes it more accurate. On nerf guns, though, since they are really accurate, they just don't shoot far, just makes the range shorter.

@NinerRider510 no the gap between the barrels and pump takes a lot of the psi away, longer barrel actually gives projectile a longer time to acelerate.. nerf guns are for children though, so I don't think it would matter much anyway :-\

sorry to say this, the rod is never glued in, it's crammed up the orange thing, just use a flathead screwdriver and pry it off, unless you have a bicycle with the spokes of the same thickness
