yea that happened to me to, fuck going into the folder just go into start and find RPG Maker then click on the icon to run it. That SHOULD work if it dosnt well install it again and see what happens :)

btw, you MUST use windows extractor to make this work properly, other extractors, such as tugzip will delete empty folders, thus preventing the autorun from working, FYI.

just to let everyone know the rpg maker vx 1.02 tril is the real program and doesn't have a demo game in it. It comes with the resources which are premade. You have to make the games yourself. but there are resources out there for you to download and put into your game.

@monstertrucktrap The same thing happened to me. Do this to check if it works for you like it did for me. when you see the Autorun button, right click it and open properties. In there, click the Compatibility tab on the near top. Inside the tab, a box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should appear. Click it and choose another Windows program (i chose Windows 2000) and finish by clicking Apply at the bottom of the window.

I hope this helps everyone who needs it! :)
