  • @bryngOneOn

    Fierce rulin' diva

  • @owdrider u star , thank you very much

  • @bryngOneOn

No worries. I didn't actually read your message properly! The track is BY - "Fierce Rulin' Diva"

One of my most fave ever. Frank De Wulf played a version of it at Eclipse in 92! One of the best mix tapes I ever owned.

  • @bryngOneOn could be "manky - believe in me" tho i think that was later ... likely it is FRD !

  • @bryngOneOn That track your looking for is an aa track from Jonny Vicious called believe this. It was on his own lable Vicious Musik around the mid 90's. This is the best use of that sample to date.

    TheMook

  • @MooksMusic changed by email address so going thru some old utube replies i didnt know about, hence the 8 month delay to say thank you for replying and knowin answer, on the subject of johnny vicious do u know anywhere on line i can hear his "don't leave me this way remix" never cared for the orig but his remix was special, esp as he had the balls not to use the songs main vocal, if u know or have to upload, eternally grateful, thanx again for ur reply

  • @kevo8619 Sure, actually I first knew the Sundance remix haha

  • Top tune....Timeless..

  • I did an epic 20 minute mix with this and Smokebelch I at a chillout party in '94 - instead of mashing out on the sofas it had everyone back up and bang on it. Brings a tear to my eye - those were the days....

  • Released in an era that included "London Xpress", "Song Of Life", "Dark N Long", "De Niro", this kicks ass.

Sundance by Sundance ? Doesnt even come anywhere near.

  • @oneofthecrowd - that was the era of the original "progressive house" sound - best time for dance music outside of the summers of love ('88-'89).

  • This is lovely. Makes me want to do a double drop and sit back on a tropical couch. Wonderful.

  • what a tune from the belfatian legend

  • dave holmes and andy weatherhalls best work by far! a good 10-15 yrs ahead of its self- still goes down a storm today!

  • This is the best remix ever.

  • A timeless classic.

  • remember his first play of this tune in the art college in belfast. still a wonder tune. what a night

  • love it!

  • The original tune was released in 1993 but you are telling us that David did the remix of it in 1988? You are a clown.

  • lol.. Your right. :D

  • You're even more wrongerer than the word wrongerer

  • off the scale awesome.

  • absolutely "the" best track of the time! takes me waaayyyyy back!!!!! and it's been re-born lately!

  • first heard the track in a nightclub in belfast called Space when i was only 16 im now 26 powerfull memories from 5am thanks...

  • is this the version SY was using in the earlt 90's?

  • EDIT - I think it is ;)

  • an absolute anthem!!!

  • Nice One.

Ive heard that melody ripped of loads of times now i know the source. Id like to say the good old days but i wasnt old enough to be out and about.

  • Sabres of Paradise "ripped" the melody too from somebody else. It was originally a beatless ambient track by LB Bad called the "new age of faith" off his True story of House EP ( see my videos).

This is a great version though.
