I am thinking about buying one of these. Do you think it's worth the extra $60 for a 5x optical zoom? Also, is this really 1080p? I thought true 1080p resolution was 1920x1080.

@videogameobsession My brother in law has the action HD, which has the optical zoom and auto focus. I think it is very much worth it to invest in these upgrades. These are the only problems i have with this model, fixed focus and digital zoom kinda suck. It does record in true 1920x1080, but it's at 30 frames per second and looks kinda laggy. I always record now with 720p at 60fps and it's almost life like.
