@MrKoopa216 depending on the country you live you may have to deal with customs. i used a company in amsterdam and received 9 out of 10 seeds i ordered. check with some canadian companys as they have a better reputation. u can google simply by typing in marijuana seeds and you'll have plenty to research. gl
@KawasakiAsian for this grow I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest for the medium. I used their nutrient line, Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom. I tried their solubles for this grow as well, Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching. followed their recommend feeding schedule and water every three days.
hey man plz help...how much do u think it will grow under crf200 w veg state....coz then i have to flower 60days and im moveing 30 april....shit week or 2 are fucking me what u think?i could flower under 400w hps ot 600w hps, have both....just i dont have hm yet, damn.tell me ur opinion?
@ssrider7 i've never used a crf lights before, so not sure of the growing time. sounds like you got about 40 days for veg...seems like enough time though. pick up a metal halide and you'll be guaranteed enough veg growth @ 40 days.
@MrKoopa216 most will tell you 18 hrs of light and 6 hrs of darkness for veg is best. the plant i this vid was put under 24hr light for 35 days before flowering. i would experiment to see what works best for you.
@MrKoopa216 you're gonna need to replace the 600hps with a 600mh. the metal halide light reaches the whiter lights on the color spectrum mimicking the longer summer days which is what you want for veg phase.
@MrKoopa216 You can definitely use a HPS light for veg and flower. What "seadooyah1" is trying to say is that the HPS light emits much more of a red specturm of light which is more useful to cannabis in its flowering stage versus a metal halide light which emits more of a blue spectrum which benefits vegetative/root/stem growth
@BarefootArizona The plant in the vid was my second grow, so i have the learnnig curve to go thru. but i do plan to go hydro when i'm feeling more comfortable with the basics.
I put my plants in flower light when the plant reaches 12 inches or higher with at least 6 weeks of veg growth. In this vid I kept it under 24hr light for 35 days. I suppose I could have kept it perminently under veg light and used her as a mother plant for cloning.
@seadooyah1 I'm interested in the 24 hour business during veg stage. Bet you get asked this alot but do you find any difference giving a plant no darkness during veg stage?
Alot of poeple say 18 is best but I'm looking to get that shit out of the way so focus switches back onto budding?
@Mavado89 to be honest, this was my second grow, first under 24hr light, so i don't have much to go by. i know all plants go thru light and dark cycles, this helps with the photosythesis process. during this process carbohydrates are stored in the leaves but need a way for them to release. this is the duty of the night cycle which transfers the energy into the root system allowing for further growth during the light phase. i decided to give conventional wisdom a run and go against the grain.
@Mavado89 I would stick with the 18 and 6. Think of your plant as a person... People need to sleep and they will give you better results at work. I know I would produce more with some rest, as do plants. You have to give them some sleep!! 24hr veg works, but you will get better results with 18.
@MrNjp13 Nonsense. Have you actually grown in both conditions? I've grown 12-14 different strains, most at 24h veg and ALWAYS, those grown at 24h light were bigger, much bigger. Plants are not humans, my friend. They are a lot simpler. You need sleep because of the brain. Plants don't have a brain.
@TheRadiastral No, but they DO measure darkness and release hormones accordingly. If they didnt, they'd never flower. 24 IS NOT the best. The plant needs to relax after making sugars etc all day, during the dark period there is just as much growth. the plants emit oxygen in the dark, and c02 in the light. 24 works for you - great, it works for alot of others too, but 18/6 is just as good if not better, it mimicks the natural light times, and the plant DOES use darkness. 14 strains isnt alot !
@Rsspecial1 Not sure why you mentioned flowering since I had obviously veg stage in mind. Well, every single plant I've had grew bigger under continuous light regimen. I'm yet to see any evidence whatsoever to support your thesis, but I do leave an open mind. I can confirm though, that there is some growth during dark hours.
@29jems originally i bought them from amsterdam and had no problems getting them to hawaii. not sure where you live? if you're in the US i would go with a canadian seed bank. do what i did; of the 9 seeds i got i took a male plant and pollinated one of my females and now i have my own seeds!
@MrKoopa216 when ever you want really. but if you allow them to grow in a veg stage for a while the larger your yield at harvest. the bigger they get in this stage the bigger your yeild will be when you harvest. this is if you grow in doors. if you grow outside its all up to nature (plant and pray)
@noml12 thanx for clearing that up 4 me im new at dis and im tryna take in all is it kool if i ask you any questions tryna get some nice plants like that thanx for the videos
i got 173 grams after trim and drying it. i cured it for about 2 months. nice smooth taste with a fruity aroma. i think it came out really nice, looking to get better as i gain more experience.
I primarily used a 400w hps for flowering, about 75% of the time. I brought it outdoors during the afternoons for about 3 hours for some natural light.
the seedling spouted in 24 hrs and it went crazy! I put it under 24x7, 400w for 35 days. i trimmed the plant, and even tried to clone it, clipped about twenty starters. the clones didn't work out in the end but the plant grew amazingly robust and remained healthy until harvest (70 days 12/12).
thx for the reply. i got these seeds from amsterdam, can't remember the name, but it my first time ordering seed online, and probably the last. i ordered 10 seeds but only 9 showed up. anyway i got 6 females from the batch and pollinated one of them from one of the males. now i have a bunch of seeds and no longer have to order online. anyway the plant in the vid i started from soil, which i never do. i always germinate.
Had some bad experience putting my plant outside every couple of days, at some point it couldn't handle the sun so it burnt :( that was my first plant ever.
@Inszz Just put em in the shadow for 1 week or 2 (transition stage) so they don't get the full sun light yet. After that they'll be ready to handle it.
whers the best place to get seeds from

@MrKoopa216 that's right. you can keep it in the veg phase for as long as you want. you determine when to flower.
