  • lol those arms look like flippin tentacles man, it seems as if the whole view is distorted

  • wygląda to debilnie. zamiast mieć większy zasięg widoku, to masz rozciągnięty ekran na 3 wyświetlacze.

  • puha hvor er du slem

  • Skipped the best part..

  • single graphics card...??

  • Chuck Norris plays crysis on MAX SETTINGS with 24 displays (infinite FPS) with a pentium 4 at .5 GHz and intel intergrated graphics

  • @BGReviews1 i bet he isn't even using a stock fan. just one blow coming from him would equal to 10x liquid nitrogen.

  • @BGReviews1 lol i tought he did it with a pentium 1 @ 33mhz

  • In the middle of gameplay you almost forget the bezels are even there. They are more obvious when watching videos like this from YouTube. Even standing behind a friend IRL that has the setup distorts the experience. To truly experience Eyefinity you must sit in the cockpit. It's even better now with bezel compensation in the AMD drivers. Furthermore, any edge distortion is lessened when in the cockpit, but is game dependent and whether you use more peripherals vs actually looking around.

  • damn i'd sure like to play my games with eyefinity... :D

  • brrrr... I tried to watch it in full, but I've got ill from the sperpective view. I think this game shows, that eyefinity isn't for gaming. If I would set in the front of this set, I would surely drop out my lunch.

  • bah next time no music. but thanks for the video, let me see what playing games with eyefinity is like. Cheers.

  • No fraps......?!?!

  • whats the music called?

  • Bing that the target is always in the center screen, I don't see hoe the edges are an issue once you get used to them.

  • damn, hate the music.

  • what computer?

  • all i have to say is four words: Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion

  • looks very weird

  • as you can see, crysis is not made for 3 screen resolutions

  • can one big screen the size of all 3 of these monitors show the same view anyone?????

  • You can tell that the water is on medium quality and by the clouds its not on very high.

  • the arms look a bit funny at the start but you can see a lot more and it looks grate

  • @Mattz9666

You still only see the same as you do on a normal 16:9 screen.

  • Too bad Crysis is such a boring game. If you disagree, then go play some good games, and come back.

  • Wow what do you have? Like two 5970's in crossfire?

  • @TearsOfWar1 Well, you only need one GPU if it's Eyefinity enabled, like 5870 or 5850.

  • @Hawktied Yeah but It was running very smoothly and it looked like it was on high graphic setting. Just saying you might need more power if you want to run crysis on high and that kind of resolution.

  • @TearsOfWar1 My HD 4890 runs Crysis on high settings, one 5850/5870/5970 can easily run Crysis on high with 3 screens by itself, no doubt about it.

  • the sides are supposed to be stretched, because they are simulating peripheral vision. but the side screens are still showing new content that originally can't be seen if you're using a single monitor. of course, its not 2 whole screens worth of new content

  • Love the keyboard....lol

  • When you add two screens and triple the res, you are seeing the same central image you always saw on the same monitor you always saw it on, you are simply adding MORE to the sides. You already had edges, now you have more game beyond the edges.

Do you black out the side windows on your car because the edges ruin the experience?

  • lol how long are nomad's arms at 1:21

  • WTF @ the arms lmao

  • WHen you run it like that do you ever notice the image being stretched at the far ends of either monitor? I know Source in infamous for stretching images on any monitor but idk about CryEngine 2.

  • @Flamesync Never mind, I see that it is drastically stretched on both monitors.

  • it actually doesn't look that good. I'm thinking it may have been designed for the simulation fans

  • thats nice but in call of duty you need widecren fixer that you dont have so masive zoom i did that and its fine

  • why the hell is this music here??

  • its 5870 ? and how big resolution ?

  • Do the dells have display ports?

  • @swiftlaker6 Obviously

  • That really looks nice.

  • this video would be so much better without this awfull beating noise in the background that some people dare to call music...

  • 1:20 looks fecking awful long streched arms! This tech is useless, I saw it back in the 80's and 90's on arcade games and videos with like 20 Tellys hooked up. Even then it looked stupid with all those black bars in the middle of each screen! and didn't do anything to improve the gaming experiance. This is the same I just want a to see it on a BIG screen. My 42" Toshiba is good enough and prefare that to this shit...

  • @sw1000xg and who has a 42" toshiba lying around?

  • @sw1000xg wow u are retarded, ur toshiba piece of shit tv can go up to 1920 x 1080, this can go 3 times that, so u can get 5760 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080 and its not useless because u can see a lot more of the game thats the whole point not to have a big ass tv with shitty resolution... dumbass

  • @ShadowChemos HUH? are you the retard? more of the game? what with big BLACK LINES in you're games hahahahaha that went out in the 90's what a joke big black line yes I really want to play games with lines in my view! Oh and a loss of size on the top and bottom with the image being cropped... Like so...

    watch?v=l3OWpAj78k4

    Joke!!!!!!!

  • @sw1000xg as long as you set up bezel compensation and set it to correct res you will have no cropping or stretching, he must not have 10.3 drivers or he didnt set up bezel comp or he just using wrong resolution, and the lines dont bother u at all when u play, if you didnt have a piece of shit computer and could run eyefinity you would see 3 monitors are better than 1

  • @ShadowChemos What having black line in you're games is better than not having black line hahahahahaha what a pathetic excuse for a pathetic technology! Looked bad even back on 80's arcade games thats why it didn't take off and thats why they developed bigger TV's so you didn't have to have loads to get a bigger screen. More screens = more lines and looking more and more stupid!

  • @sw1000xg @sw1000xg do u not understand that your tv which is 1920 x 1080 is smaller than 5760 x 1080? size does not matter onl the resolution so if you have a 1 monitor and someone else has 3 of them, then when looking at the 1 screen compared to 3, you will be able to see more than on 1 cuz of the higher res and the lines dont bother you,

  • @sw1000xg think about driving a car there is big line to your left but you dont focus on it you focus on the road, its the same with the bezels on the monitors when you play you dont notice them because you are looking at the game not at the black lines

  • @sw1000xg I smell a jealous bitch!

  • @tbvdb Jealous? hahahahah I had this tech back in the 80's and 90's hahahah and it was usless then hahahaha!!!

  • @sw1000xg

Aaah, now i get it, you had this setup:

    /watch?v=g5P2HI05-Kg

  • @tbvdb Yeah exactly that is the best way eye thingy should be seen hahahaha!!!

  • don't waste your money, was very dissapointed after 30 minutes of using this, with the left and right screens "stretching" in every game. (even the games that support eyefinity) Its like the fov is somehow causing this in all the games, check out some more videos and look for this to see what i mean. It really does start to get to you after a while.

  • same mouse as mine other dan that kinda silly

  • When he drops down, his arms looks stupid.

  • Oh, the music, making me dance, and dance, and dance

  • its good on racing games DEFINITELY but other than that the edges are just ruining the experience, maybe if they designed "edgefree" monitors then it will be revolutionary.

  • @Jinisinsane

well NEC has a 46 inch completely borderless panel out, only problem is that they are like 1360 x 768 resolution, which is appalling considering the

    US$6000 price tag for ONE.

So yeah i guess its a waiting game for like Samsung, lg, hp, dell to put out a completely borderless panel with a reasonable price tag and respectable resolution :)

  • Well there is a 26'' borderless panel that is 1920 x 1200 resolution and is only 450$. The VVM Vizio. Came out like 2 years ago. It's surprising no one has ever heard of it. I'd like to see those monitors working with Eyefinity.

  • @Jinisinsane Nar, thats far from the truth, i don't even notice the edges at all during gaming.. anyone with eyefinity will say the same. you just don't notice them. It all melts together

  • @Jinisinsane you can take em out you know...

  • @Jinisinsane they did. its called CRVD monitors. i forgot which company made them but u can look it up on youtube

  • @Jinisinsane I totally agree! I would get an eyefinity setup in a heart beat if they had edge free screens!

  • @Jinisinsane there are edgeless LED TVs by LG i believe. But they are not yet available in the US i believe and they are not cheap. I remember they are around 47"~52"+ so you will have to sit back a lot or you might go blind.

  • @Jinisinsane Fully agree with the edges ruining the experience. But I fully embrace Eyefinity (and 3D Vision Surround) as a technological step towards video wall gaming. Heck who knows in a couple years from now we will have an 180 degree edgefree circular gaming wall available. :)

  • @Jinisinsane Well, with bezel correction it really doesn't matter. The extra monitors just give you more vision over the single one. The single one is what you'd normally see.

  • @Jinisinsane

I'm going to go on the assumption you haven't actually used Eyefinity for any extended period of time.

The bezels really dont distract from gaming

  • @Jinisinsane And flight sims or airplane games, too bad those dont come with DiRT2 graphics. Maybe CodeMasters should start looking at flying games for that huh.

  • @Jinisinsane once your on it, you wouldnt really notice the bezels at all.

  • @Jinisinsane The "edges" or bezels, have not ruined my experience. But what do I know since I actually use eyefinity. Revolutionary.

  • @Jinisinsane

alienware do an edgefree curved monitor

  • @Jinisinsane how is it ruining the experience? if you played on 1 monitor all you'd see if the middle screen, the left and right screen are extra for peripheral vision. That's like saying the gaps between your car windshield and the side windows are ruining your driving experience.

  • @Kwalsh902 THE GAPS BETWEEN MY CAR WINDSHIELD AND THE SIDE WIDNOWS ARE RUINING MY DRIVING EXPERIENCE... sorry caps.

  • @Jinisinsane alienware did back in 2009 and emachines before that back in 2005.....

  • i woul dhave to take way the plastic on the outsides of monitor i cant cop with them fuckin black gaps

  • Whats with the bars on the middle monitor?

  • @retsnom92

That part of the game is like a video clip so they made it pretend widescreen - they probably never expected it to be played at such a high resolution. But that is just my guess.

  • I think cause it was a cut scene.

  • lold @ lagg

  • wat game

  • *facepalm*

  • Eyefinity looks way better than nvidias surround view plus eyefinity is probably alot cheaper than nvidias

  • @Kryosthefirst Totaly agree plus with the dell monitors it looks 10 times better then the nvidias

  • @Kryosthefirst

    Ive seriously considered nvidia surround.

In your opinion what makes ati's eyefinity better?

  • @abvmoose87 Nvidia surround is a really good idea, yet Eyefinity is much more practical. This is because the GF100 series cards are too new, and not yet perfected. You need 2 video cards to run the Nvidia surround, and those cards will run very hot on their own. With 2... anyone will recommend water cooling for both cards. As well as you will need to buy 3 120hz 3D monitors and those won't come as cheap. approx $200 for the glasses. But no one will deny, it will look really badass!

  • @abvmoose87 Ati Eyefinity requires only 1 video card, 3 fairly cheap monitors, and a really big desk. That's about it. (One of those monitors has to be compatible with display port, or you need to buy a Display port to HDMI or DVI adapter. It has to be an active connection (approx $100). So you spend half the money on accessories, graphics cards, monitors, and 100% less on GPU cooling. That's why, at this time, ATI eyefinity is better. I'll go back to Nvidia when they can compete in price.

  • @Kryosthefirst it is man you only need 1 card for eyefinity

  • @Kryosthefirst not probably cheaper it is cheaper to make surround view with nvidia you need 2 graphic card with ati only 1

  • @Kryosthefirst how's it look better?

  • @Kryosthefirst ...with Nvidia...you need two cards...so lame

  • @Drebln893 By the way 3 monitors is hard to support with one card, that's why AMD sacrifice some clock rate for memory. It's not lame, it's simply that it doesn't have 3 slots. Else it would be easily possible. Also 2x GTS 450 is not heavy on the wallet (100-120$ each?) and then you can look 2x GTX 460/560.

    --Darkteammadfiz--

  • @Darkteammadfiz ...I take it back....I'm gona get GTX 590 ... :-)...lol

  • @Drebln893 It's true that Nvidia could easily developp a Eyefinity system like they did, but they are more busy to do something else (maybe they are preparing the 600 series =-)

  • @Kryosthefirst It's just basically the same and all Nvidia need is 2 graphics card compared to 1. The only way it can look better is that you compared you different screens. Search 2D surround on youtube and watch the first video.

  • It's weird at first but it is addicting. Imagine going back to a 19'' after all that. Hahahaha it would be a bit of drama.

  • Please, do not have both background sound and additional sound onm at the same time... headache.

  • that intro sound makes my ears bleed

  • lol Mr fantastic with the arms there lol

  • a single 5870 can handle this as well

  • The arms, what the hell man

  • You need to do this with 3 Beamers, so you have no Black Bar.

    LG

  • long arms? :D

    LG

  • Money money money...

I might actually go pickup 3 monitors each at 1900 x 1080 which then needs a second gpu for 170 which then needs liquid cooling because both gpu fans won't fit

    $~1000...

  • Your ganna need a heavy GPU like a 5970 look at my rig on my channel its bad azz

  • Actually i think that music is rly good the problem is maybe a bit loud :)

  • Man, the music is terrible!!! guru3d clips are so annoying because of it, i was forced to turn sound off to watch the video.

  • Whats the other settings on like AA and all?

  • If this is allowed online on any game I will stop playing instantly!

  • the screen doesnt give you any extra view...only with need for speed because of windows and crap, this is just wider

  • Mostruoso!!!!

  • Hehe. While this feature is incredibly epic in some games, I can't help but laugh at the arm-holes in the skydiving sequence. xD

  • I jsut got a Eyefintiy setup with 3x 24 inch and it really does look incredible. You dont; notice teh stretch on the side displays when you'r eistting close.

But it does take some getting used to. Befroe last ngiht, it wasn;t since the original DOOM says that my computer view gave me a bit of nausea.

Oh and uhh.. i get about 35fps at 5760x1200 with med-high settings on Q9550@3.5ghz, 4gb ram, and a single XFX 5870. Not too bad.

  • i think my eyes will bleed if i'd play with 3monitors

  • the side monitors are supposed to represent your peripheral vision so that's why it looks stretched out. if u were to play only on 1 monitor u would only see what's showing in the middle screen

  • Lol it just doesn't look right, why would you make a peripheral vision with the monitors? You have one in real already don't you? Lawl.

  • I didn't know that Nomad was strech arm strong.

  • yeah lol. you can stick to ur 1 monitor and i'll stick with mine. haha

  • the FOV is way off though. To much stretching happened.

  • NICE MAN !

  • in the beginning his arms looked like a giant pair of spaghetti tendrils.

  • @CloudPulse

Put your arms in the sky dive position and then look at them.

Its actually rather to scale, how ever it looks odd as in games your not really used to it.

Thing is no one complains about the guns etc in games being shown at eye level whilst they are being held at the hip XD

  • How does this compare to Surround view? I got three monitor and three extended desktop view. It can't full screen on all three but if I go windowed mode I can resize it to fit on three screens. Does Eyefinity treat all three monitor as one giant wide screen screen?

  • @AkoyPinoy2 yeah eyefinity makes ur monitors as 1 big screen

  • 3 wide screen side by side just not right.....maybe it's time to go back to 4:3 monitor LOL

  • whats the song plz?

  • lol. just hands without body

  • system specs please

  • psyfreak playing crysis with the big boy style.

    great music, dude

vote for more goa in youtube vids!

  • 5:21

    is it normal ?

    look the screens

  • You really could hve done without music in this video...

  • You kidding me? The song is fliping awesome!

  • Yeah, awesome or not - the video should ahve either had music only or in-game sounds only - this way it is just not cool.

  • hey ppl waita moment O_o eyefinity is not necessary for run multiple monitor on a single computer

  • It's because a single ATI card with Eyefinity can run up to 3 monitors.

  • name of the track PLEASE?

    great video

  • i bet people with 60 inh tvs and not two inch lines in the srceen are really jelous.and if it doesn't fit in your fiield of view who gives a crap....lame and big deal more than one monitor...that's soooo amazing 8 years ago

  • holy shit..

i know what i want for christmas

  • Hm, i wonder how many card he uses.

  • Comment removed

  • WatchedProductions

    yes you can

  • hmm if i have two screens can i choose to game on one and use the other for stufff like msn? or youtube?

    With eyefinity :D

  • you don't need eyefinity for that, to be precise, eyefinity doesn't even do that. your drivers already can dual monitor this means, 2 seperate monitors or clone(2 monitors same view) Eyefinity can set the resolution so that your whole desktop is arranged over the monitors. giving a large FOV. Eyefinity has the technology to have 9 monitors linked up as one.

  • icic

  • While admiring you playing in eye infinity mode I couldnt help but notice how terrible you are at this game. that is all.

  • Oh I suck at Crysis ! I won't dispute that hehe.

Seriously though, in my defense, I am sitting in a 90 degree angle from the screens, emulate and try for yourself what kind of effect that has on gameplay ;)

  • hey man how many cards your have and wat are the graphics settings?

  • i think one card only, because that's ati eyefinity technology

  • thanks i kno eyefinity technology cant crossfire yet

  • haha hes showing off the Eyefinity not his skills =p

  • es sieht derbst scheiße verzogen aus!

  • i hate the night vision view x_X

    i never use it :D

  • yeah! having dividers obstructing your vision is just great! not distracting at all!

  • Cool stuff, but in this game, the stuff on the side monitors seem too stretched.. better off if the monitors where LED borderless.. hopefully next gen games will support this and have proper "non-stretched look" capability

  • That is intentional. It is supposed to emulate peripheral vision.

  • It would appear that there is now a need for alienwares big panoramic monitor. for use with ati eyefinity.

  • like the tech but the arms look WAY toooo long.

  • im testing this now out.

    2time full hd

  • amazing man :)

  • niceee man 5**

  • Nice vid however, but seriously, a great "gaming" machine with no gaming peripherals? WTF!!!

i know it's a demo and all but i might as well state the obvious :)

  • My friend already bought the xfx radeon hd 5870 and its awesome!! Works really great with a 2 way crossfire. I'll be waiting for the nvidia gt300 platform though ; )

  • wait for a long time because there sample is bs !lol

  • yeah, with the GT300 you'll be able to use 3D Vision :-) which as far as I'm concerned is alot better than this.

  • STill cost more than 3 monitors...

  • oh well, much better experience :-)

  • if the GT300 ever comes out, and when it does it will probably be about £600~, nvidia is in serious trouble atm.

  • and why do you think you have to pay more? is there any possible reason, any features you might have overlooked, that would make them charge more?

obviously I don't expect to pay the same price as an ATI card, if I'm getting more, that would be ignorant.

and Nvidia is not in serious trouble. You cannot say the next card will be a high price anyways. After all their manufacturing process has gotten smaller, which means it will cost less to fabricate the cards.

  • The GT300 will be 40nm vs the 55nm GTX 295.

  • you do realize that by changing the entire process of making their cards for example by changing the die size will cost more since they have to modify all of their equipment? Also ATI has had 40nm for awhile and all of Nvidias attempts have failed miserably, enjoy your overpriced fail of a card. oh and before you call me an ATI fanboy my current card is an 8800 GTS 512

  • you know, I really don't care about all the bullshit in between, I just care about the end result, and which company offers me what I want. If ATI offered me what I want, I would buy an ATI card, I'm waiting for Nvidia's next card tho (Not because I'm loyal) but because I know it will have what I want, 3D Vision, and DX11.

I don't care about paying more, playing games in 3D is worth the premium, I know many ppl don't think it's worth anything, but I do, and this is a reason why it costs more 2.
